"Meredith and Paul were absolutely fantastic, we could not have asked for better sitters.
They stepped in at very short notice after our original sitters cancelled less than a week before our trip. We were heading abroad long distance and needed someone safe, reliable and experienced to look after Leo, our Labrador. They gave us complete confidence from the outset.
From our very first phone call with Meredith, she put us at ease. She asked thoughtful and knowledgeable questions and clearly understands dogs, which was especially important given Leo is a working line Labrador who needs proper stimulation and exercise.
Meredith and Paul went above and beyond. They came to pick Leo up and were incredibly attentive in getting to know his routine, energy levels and what keeps him engaged.
Throughout the sit, we received regular updates and it was clear they treated our dog as if he was their own which meant we could fully relax while we were away knowing that he was happy.
Most importantly, Leo came back relaxed, settled, and noticeably calmer than we have ever seen him after a sit, which says everything about the care and attention he received.
We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to recommend Meredith and Paul to anyone looking for trustworthy and genuinely excellent sitters. We would love to stay in touch for future sits and know our dog would too!"

"Words cannot describe highly enough of the service I received from Amber and Adam, a lovely young couple. Having booked with my usual dog carer well in advance for my trip in July, the dog carer informed few weeks before my departure that she is not able to look after my furries without any reasonable explanation. I was devastated!! Amber and Adam were my life savers who had the availability and they gladly accepted my request to look after my two furries. Though I live quite far away from this couple, they arranged a meet and greet and my first acquaintance with this couple was awesome!! No doubt the couple have the natural flair for looking after dogs. It was God's grace that I found the awesome couple at last for dog care. They updated me to confirm that the furries have settled down nicely. I found the couple very loving, understanding, flexible sweet tempered with lots of patience. Further during the process, they responded well to all my messages sent on Pawshake. They both are very dedicated to their job as dog carers which I strongly feel is very rare thing amongst dog carers. (Absolutely brilliant) The couple are a great asset to the Pawshake organisation!! On my return when I went pick my furries it was a surprise to see both furries had settled down so well in their house.
I would always consider Amber and Adam for dog care unless they are not available. With no hesitation I can recommend this couple to anyone.

"I’m so happy Ksenia took care of Freya during my holidays. She was absolutely wonderful with my doggie! Ksenia sent me updates almost every day and kept me posted throughout, which was really reassuring. "Anuj and Nat were amazing with our dachshund Bruno! From the start, Anuj took the time to meet us beforehand to help Bruno feel comfortable and less stressed. His knowledge and experience with dogs were clear and really put us at ease.
They gave Bruno lots of care and attention, took him outside often, and kept us updated throughout. He came home relaxed, happy, and didn’t lose any of his usual habits—unlike past boarding experiences.
As a thoughtful touch, they even gifted him a bowl with his name and one of the toys he loved during his stay. It’s clear they truly care. We’re so grateful and highly recommend Anuj to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and experienced pet sitter!

"We booked Janine’a dog boarding service for 3 days. She took care of our Wilbur with utmost care . She has a little cute dog, Tinker Bell. Wilbur got along with her and enjoyed the stay a lot. Janine gave Wilbur a very cute gift when we took back Wilbur. And she didn’t forget to check up on Wilbur the day after she returned Wilbur to us. Such an amazing dog sitter she is. "Our Newfador, Cyrille, had a lovely relaxing stay with Anu. Anu offers beautiful surroundings and spacious garden, plus ready access to nearby countryside walks.
There was only one other dog around for the bulk of his stay, Anu's own, adding to a calm, tranquil atmosphere.
If you are looking for your dog to have the equivalent of a canine 18-30 holiday with lots of other dogs and incessant play, then this is not the place!
If, however, you are looking for a peaceful environment, having your "best friend" well cared for but not overstimulated, then Anu's is perfect .
If I was being picky, it may be good for Anu to take 3 dogs more regularly (2 guest dogs plus her own), to give a better balance of calm vs play. This may be especially attractive where the dog guests are younger and need more activity.
Overall we were very happy with how it worked out and would certainly look to return in future.

She provided excellent care, ensuring our dog had plenty of walks and playtime. We appreciated the written contract, which outlined all the details clearly and gave us a piece of mind.
Before the boarding started, Priya arranged for us to meet the other dog that was staying with her to ensure that the dogs get along well. This thoughtful step showed her dedication to creating a safe and comfortable environment for all the dogs in her care. "Oti had a great time with Nadia. She was really well looked after. I received daily updates, photos and videos. Nadia’s flat was lovely and clean & Oti felt immediately at home. There’s a play area for dogs just outside & Oti loved it. She was walked regularly as well. She met her best pal Kaiser (Nadia’s dog) who she loved playing with. "We left our 2yr old lab Bleu with Sheryl for 20 days. Sheryl put our minds at ease about leaving Bleu for the 1st time. It was obvious from day one that Sheryl and her entire family loved dogs. Her house is entirely set up to be dog friendly. We received daily video updates of Bleu. Bleu was not just looked after , he was loved. We were able to enjoy our holiday with peace of mind knowing Bleu was happy and having a great time. We would happily recommend Sheryl , she goes above and beyond for the pets left in her care."
