Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Alfreton home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Alfreton.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Alfreton home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi, I’m Jordan, a passionate and reliable pet sitter with extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve looked after a wide variety of dogs (and other animals) across the UK and internationally.
I understand that every dog has its own unique personality and needs, and I take pride in providing loving, attentive care that helps your dog feel safe and comfortable while you're away.
I offer in-home dog sitting, which means your pet can stay in their familiar environment, stick to their routine, and enjoy plenty of companionship and affection. I’m calm, observant, and confident in handling everything from energetic pups to more senior dogs who just want a cuddle and a slow stroll.
I do not currently offer boarding in my own home, and I’m happy to discuss any specific requirements – including vaccination status and medical needs – during our initial chat. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend!

As a dog owner of 2 chihuahuas (one is 10 and the other is 20) I value the importance of how hard it is to find people that click with them and that it's not a rushed process....like people we all have our levels of being socially comfortable around others so i like to let amimals go at their own pace to become buddies with me.
I've grown up and looked after lots of creatures from Lizards, rats, Chinchillas, scorpians and toads...i was proudly the guinea pig catcher at junior school too
I love all sizes and breeds of dogs but I feel my strength is with smaller dogs and understand the importance of keeping a close eye on them when taking them for walks out and about...the world is a big place for them!

I love taking pictures and giving updates when pet sitting cats and dogs for friends in the past. I enjoy a cuddle with a moggy too and have alot of good energy to share. I'm also a light sleeper so if you needed a house sitter my ears are as keen as a chihuahuas.

Speaking from experience having the reassurance in a pet sitter is something that you never realise you need until it's time to take a trip or spend a long day at work.
Dogs are legends an cats have the magic of calm energy...all creatures are epic! So if you'd like some help and to put your mind at rest let me know how I can help :)

With years of experience in dog daycares, grooming salons, and kennels, I’ve honed my ability to handle animals of all temperaments, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’ve spent my life surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes, from large and small dog breeds to cats, bearded dragons, tortoises, and guinea pigs. Alongside my practical experience, I’ve completed studies in Animal Science, Management, and Behaviour, giving me a well-rounded understanding of pets’ physical and emotional needs.
Running my own pet care business, KTM Pets, for over a year has further enhanced my hands-on skills and deepened my passion for providing personalised, attentive care. I’m qualified in Pet First Aid and Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business, and I always stay up to date with the latest advancements in pet care to offer the very best for your furry, scaly, or feathered companions. Fully licensed, DBS-checked, and committed to providing safe, loving, and reliable care, I cater to all pets—whether it’s a walk, an overnight stay, or assistance with special needs like administering medication.
Your pets will be in expert hands, and I look forward to offering them the same level of care and attention as if they were my own!
