I am an animal lover and own lovely 2 cats. Due to owning cats I don't own any dogs, but I'm really keen on dogs also. I'm happy to do dog walking, and cat sitting and other pet sitting too, such as hamsters which I owned when younger and want to own again someday! I can visit your pets when you're away and am very caring and always give full attention to the pet/s with playtime.
I love taking dogs out on walks and can take multiple at once. I can take your dogs out in the car for longer walks or just do walks around the local park- whatever is needed. I can visit cats for feeding, changing litter, and love to give them lots of playtime and attention and lots of purring! I send photos so you can see your pets are happy and relaxed.&nbsp;
I am very careful about safety with your pets, so will always ask all about their behaviours inor out of the house and any health/dietary needs, to ensure their time is fun and safe with me. I also have a pet first aid course training so know how to perform CPR and first aid to animals, and happy to show proof of certificate if required.&nbsp;
I offer a free introductory visit/walk so I can learn about your pet's behaviours and any needs, with the owner present so that we are both well informed and happy with the arrangement. If dog walking I always go on an initial walk with the owner, to get familiar with the dog and learn about how best to walk them, and to ensure you are happy that your pet is in safe hands. If cat sitting I will come and let the cat get familiar with me and find out what they like and don't like.
I have quite flexible work, so can visit or dog walk during the day, or whenever's best. If over a mile away I do charge 40p/mile travel costs to your property, which has to be paid for seperately when meeting as no way to add additional costs through here. For pet sitting, I can only pet-sit 2x a day if the location is within two miles.

I have owned dogs all my life, and currently have the cutest 6 year old English springer spaniel called Alfie who we have had since a puppy. He is very energetic and loves long walks, but will love just as much to come and cuddle with you. Growing up, I had a black Labrador, which is where my love for dogs began. 

I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs as well as different ages and different energy levels.
I am great with energetic young dogs as well as laid back sleepy dogs. 
I love taking energetic dogs to new places to explore but also chilling out with laidback sleepy dogs who just like a short stroll. 
I am here to make sure your furry friends needs are fully met and I will ensure to make them feel extra loved while you are away!

I am obsessed with animals, I grew up with over 25+ pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, frogs, turtles, salamanders, etc!) in Michigan, and now I raise my beloved four cats and three guinea pigs with my partner here in Sheffield. My name's Charlie Chappell and I'm a student paramedic at Sheffield Hallam University. At home I have three golden retrievers called Chester who's 8, Rupert who's 3 and Walter who's 3. I've looked after all three of them on my own for long periods of time since they were puppies and this made me want to offer my availability to others who need a pet sitter. I would prefer to pet sit at the offering house due to staying in student accommodation but I can assure I am clean and polite and will respect the home I'm pet sitting in. I also have experience of assisting my sister who's a registered veterinary nurse with pet sitting as she looks after a variety of animals on the occasion someone needs help with pet sitting. I love all animals and have since I was a kid so thought this would be a great way to use my time when I am not in university.

I am a first year Biomedical Student at the University of Sheffield on a three year course. I am originally from London where I grew up with a pet dog as well as dog sitting and dog walking for my family and friends. Being at University means not having a dog of my own to love so my dream is to be able to hang out and look after any dogs in the area. I am a massive walking fan and often go to the peak district and would love to bring along a furry friend! Growing up with a pet dog made me realise how important they are in our lives and mental health as well as how much I loved and cared for my own dog and I would love to care for others ones as well. I am able to look after any dogs however my accommodation doesn't allow animals but I am able to travel to house sit and dog sit as well as dog walking. I am available to do 30-60 minute dog walks and travel to feed and play with the dogs for as long as needed. Any size or age dog I can look after and give attention to. I will stay in contact with the owner throughout the walks and house sits with photos and updates as well as any emergency's. I have experience with larger dogs and able to control them on walks and looking after them. I am available most evenings and nights as well as all weekend. I've always loved animals. We had cats, dogs, hamsters and horses growing up so they were a big part of my life. Now I have two toddlers (who are fairly like little animals some of the time ) and two cats which keeps me busy but we really miss having a pup.
I've been dog walking and pet sitting since 2021 and have a lot of experience with different breeds, reactive dogs and puppies. We usually go for hour long walks and I'll make sure pups are dried off and happy before I leave them. We're so lucky to live in Sheffield with so many beautiful places to walk, if it's warm weather I'll stick to shady woodlands. I also listen to any advice from owners as to where their dog likes to go the best. Unless specifically requested all walks are done on the lead to keep your dog safe. I've also had the pleasure of looking after cats in their home quite a lot which I love doing. This can be for a few visits over the time required or I also do house stays with pets.
When I care for an animal I ensure is tailored specifically to that pet, they are a huge part of a family and it's important that you feel heard as their owner. When I look after puppies I am calm and ensure I follow the training disciplines you are using. I will be calm with any animal I am lucky to look after, waiting for them to come to me and building up the relationship up without rushing it.
As mentioned I have two toddlers so I started dog walking and pet sitting as it gives me flexibility to be with the boys as much as possible. My partner is also a dog walker so we can rely on each other to look after the kids during our different jobs which means I can be available last minute if required. 
I have an advanced DBS (previous teaching assistant) and I am doggie first aid training. I'm also fully insured.

I have been around dogs my whole life. I adore them. My motivation is to ensure your dogs have a great time with me and I'm giving them the best care possible. Im just going to be offering dog walking as I live in student accommodation and are not able to have dogs stay over at the moment I am so sorry but I promise you that your dog would have lots of fun if I take them out for walks. I'm choosing to do this as it is very flexible around my university schedule. We had a family dog who was called Bruce I walked him nearly every night apart from when I was walking late. On these walks I would try my best to learn him how to sit and wait before crossing the road and continually put effort into teaching him how not to jump as cars driving past. We would take walks around a country park that was where we lived and he adored being able to take In all the different smells. I can't wait to be walking your dogs.
