Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Baslow home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Baslow.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Baslow home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I have owned dogs all my life, and currently have the cutest 6 year old English springer spaniel called Alfie who we have had since a puppy. He is very energetic and loves long walks, but will love just as much to come and cuddle with you. Growing up, I had a black Labrador, which is where my love for dogs began.

I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs as well as different ages and different energy levels.
I am great with energetic young dogs as well as laid back sleepy dogs.
I love taking energetic dogs to new places to explore but also chilling out with laidback sleepy dogs who just like a short stroll.
I am here to make sure your furry friends needs are fully met and I will ensure to make them feel extra loved while you are away!

Along with this, I am happy to care for multiple pet households such as multiple dogs or a mix of dogs & cats! Please let me know if there is any extra care needed such as ensuring dogs & cats are kept separate etc.

I am always open to any extra types of care needed such as medication or extra attention, given instructions.

I appreciate you entrusting me with your fur babies so will always treat them as my own, as well as treating your home with respect, leaving it identical to how it was found, with a cared for and happy pet left waiting for you to return!

I am currently a student studying physics at the university of Sheffield.
I have a fairly flexible schedule and can fit in multiple visits a day as well as staying overnight

However being a student, I will not be able to stay in your home full time on weekdays & will need to go out to my lectures at various times - please message me for more info!

Hi, I’m Ben! I’m a reliable, caring dog lover offering a safe and welcoming home for small to medium-sized, child-friendly dogs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and secure when away from their owners.
I have two children, so any dogs staying with us must be comfortable and well-behaved around kids. My children are gentle and respectful with animals, and we make sure every dog feels included and at ease in our home. I work a flexible 9–5 job, which means I’m often home during the day for company, walks, playtime and plenty of attention.
On the occasional day I’m in the office, your dog would never be left alone for more than 6–7 hours. I can adapt walks, types and lengths to suit your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they get the right level of exercise and stimulation. Dogs will also have access to the garden for a quick wee, and will be kept on a lead at all times for safety.
All dogs are welcomed and encouraged to come for a visit beforehand, giving them the chance to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings. This helps them feel comfortable, calm and relaxed when it’s time for their own little holiday!
I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy and treated like part of the family. I’ll make sure they receive lots of care, affection and regular updates while they’re with us, so you can have complete peace of mind.
