Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Bean home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Bean.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Bean home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Professional Dog Walking & Pet Care Services in LondonI offer reliable, caring, and professional dog walking and pet care services across London. Animals have been an important part of my life since childhood — I grew up surrounded by pets and have cared for many dogs and other animals over the years. This lifelong passion naturally led me to work professionally with animals. As my experience grew, I also assisted veterinarians in Ukraine, where I gained strong hands-on knowledge of animal behaviour, basic health monitoring, and proper daily care. This background allows me to confidently work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, always prioritising their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.Daily routine & walksEach day is structured around the dogs’ needs. Walks are planned based on energy level, weather conditions, and owner preferences. During walks, I focus not only on physical exercise but also on mental stimulation — allowing time for sniffing, calm exploration, and positive interaction with the environment. I ensure dogs have access to water, take breaks when needed, and return them home calm and relaxed.Individual approach & enrichmentI understand that every dog is unique. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, and any special requirements. I can incorporate basic training reinforcement during walks, such as leash manners, recall practice (where appropriate), calm behaviour, and positive reward-based interactions. For senior dogs or dogs that require a gentler pace, I provide slower walks, extra patience, and attentive care.Safety & emergency handlingSafety is always my top priority. I use secure leads and harnesses when needed, closely monitor dogs for signs of stress or fatigue, and avoid unsafe situations. Thanks to my veterinary assistance background, I am calm and organised in unexpected situations. In case of illness, injury, or emergency, I follow owner instructions, provide basic first-response care if appropriate, and contact the owner immediately.Reliability & communicationI offer flexible services in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Pet owners can expect clear communication, punctuality, and genuine care. I provide updates when needed and always follow agreed routines.I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, kindness, and respect — and aim to provide a safe, positive, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

I have always had a deep love for animals, which is what sparked my passion for pet sitting. Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a strong bond with animals of all kinds, and that connection has only grown stronger over the years. Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with my desire to help others by providing a safe, loving environment for pets while their owners are away.
My motivation comes from the joy I feel in caring for animals and ensuring they are happy and comfortable. I understand how important pets are to their families, and I want to provide peace of mind to pet owners by offering top-notch care.
With previous experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals, I am skilled in meeting each pet's unique needs. I offer personalized services tailored to the pet's specific routines and preferences, from daily walks to playtime and cuddle sessions. Pet sitting is not just a job for me; it's a way to share my passion for animals while helping others.
I offer dog walking and home visits mainly but open to overnight sits as well.

Hello there! I've been around dogs for most of my life and currently own a toy poodle that turns 3 in the summer of 2025. I've looked after dogs and cats from time to time since 2018. The dogs have been young puppies up to adults and varied from bichons to labradors. For two years, I have regularly worked with my toy poodle as a therapy dog in a variety of settings include charities, schools, universities and corporate offices. In this, I've got familiar with so many different dog breeds and being with them in a variety of environments around children and adults. I've sat for dogs in season, am familiar with brushing coats, cleaning teeth, adminsitering medication and tidying around eyes. I'm able to do higher intensity exercise with dogs too, my toy poodle comes with me on parkrun and we get around in 22 minutes. My experience with cats include a period of fostering a ginger cat that was rehomed with my partner's aunt and I have been regularly sitting for an elderly Maine Coone so I've got familiar administering medicine when needed.

Hiya! I'm Jaclyn, I recently moved to London as a postgraduate student in south London. I grew up around animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses, and I've often been my friends and family's go-to petsitter over the years, sitting for anything from a single dog to a couple dozen dogs, pigs, chickens, fish, and rabbits. My rates will vary on the number of animals and level of care needed, and I'm happy to work with pet parents to find a rate that works for both of us. I do not currently have any pets of my own, although I love them and find spending time with animals to be so rewarding and stress-reducing. As a student, I am only on my campus two days a week so my schedule is quite flexible. I'm comfortable around all animals and happy to provide supplements or medications on top of specific food diets as instructed. I am happy to offer overnight visits or just walks around the Woolwich or Greenwich areas. I always like to set up a brief meet-and-greet visit with pets and owners before I am caring for your pet alone to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable and I know everything I need to make sure your pet stays that way.

Hi, I’m Vasia, a cat sitter based in Woolwich, and I’d love to look after your furry friend while you’re away! I specialize in cat boarding, including overnight stays, and I only take a maximum of two cats at a time so every guest gets plenty of love and attention.
I’m a proud cat mum to Cosmo, my super friendly 8-month-old ragdoll. He’s fully vaccinated and up to date with all his treatments, and he absolutely loves meeting new kitty friends. Having Cosmo around makes this more than just a pet-sitting service—it’s an opportunity for your cat to socialize and play in a safe, loving environment.
We live in a spacious penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows, so there’s always something interesting for cats to watch—birdwatching is a daily highlight here! Our home has lots of cozy spots for naps, plus room to explore and play. I’m home 24/7 as I study remotely, and my partner works from home too, so your cat will never be left alone.
As a lifelong cat lover, I know how important it is to keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. I only accept fully vaccinated cats to ensure everyone’s safety, and I treat every cat as if they’re my own.
If you’re looking for a warm, friendly, and experienced cat sitter in Woolwich, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to book your cat’s stay. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

Hi I'm Luke,
I'm 31, and live in the E16 area with my Fiance my newly born daughter and our lovely dog Pickle, a Welsh terrier.
I grew up with pets all around me. Dogs, cats, hamsters, fish. We had it all. I used to spend hours just playing with them and looking after them with my full attention. I loved caring for them and the affection they would give me as a result. That passion for pets has carried on into my adult life.
Pets are such a special part of our lives.I know how much your pet means to you, and that you want someone who is going to treat them with care and attentiveness. I can ensure that I'll listen carefully to your indivi needs for your pet, and make it my mission to keep them safe, happy and cared for.
I offer dog-walking and dog sitting. Cat sitting, any other petting sitting and maintenance.
I have 15 years prior experience caring for pets.
Price can be negotiated depending on what you can afford. But generally I charge £15 per hour, or £95 for the whole day. If your pet needs looking after full time for the whole week I will generally charge £500. Again, can be negotiated.
Thanks for your time
Luke Harding
