Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Brockenhurst home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Brockenhurst.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Brockenhurst home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi there, here's a bit more about me.My hobbies include singing and producing music, horse riding, and hiking and of course caring for animals. My normal day to day job is being a sound and lighting technician, so I usually start work around 5pm till 11:30pm at night. I have most of the daytime free which is a nice opportunity to help with walking dogs or house sitting.
Being out in the open and exploring the beautiful countryside is such a wonderful thing to ¼be able to do especially living in the Isle of Wight! Dogs very much enhance this opportunity to enjoy nature which is something I absolutely love about them.
I have been a dog sitter since the age of 16. I like take in whatever routine the owner sets out for the dog/any other animal. I think its only fair to get more familiar with owner and animal in advance before the house sitting begins so you the owner & dog get to know me more so theres more comfort in knowing your beloved animals are in safe hands.
If you like what you read then let's talk more. send me a message on Pawshake and let's book a slot. Isle of Wight based only please ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I’ve looked after dogs ever since I was 12, with a variety of puppy training, dog walking and pet sitting. Unfortunately I don’t have a pet myself yet, but have been raised around dogs all my life. I’m used to crate training, and have experience with puppies, gun dogs, spaniels and rescues. I love nothing more than finding out the personalities of dogs and looking after them.
We have a secure, fenced garden and home in central Romsey, so very easy access to other areas. I will make sure that your dog isn’t out in the garden without being watched (just in case), and will always be vigilant of any potential dangers. We have a small garden so it will be very easy to keep an eye on your furry friend.

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or things that I should know, and I will do my best to account for these. Is your dog good around other dogs? Do they chase squirrels? Any and all information is welcome!

As a passionate pet sitter, I have developed a deep understanding of what it takes to ensure pets feel safe, loved, and happy in their own environment. I first discovered my love for pet sitting while living in New Zealand, where I had the opportunity to care for a variety of pets, from playful dogs to curious cats. This experience not only honed my skills in pet care but also reinforced my commitment to providing individualized attention that each animal deserves.

Now that I am back home in England, I am excited to continue my pet sitting journey. I bring with me a wealth of experience that includes managing different pets’ unique needs, whether it’s adhering to specific feeding routines, providing medication, or simply ensuring they get plenty of exercise and affection.

Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and taught me how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for about two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and I'm happy to do overnight stays or visits once/twice a day.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.

If there's anything else you need that I haven't mentioned, or if you have any questions, just drop me a message!

I've been a dog walker for 3 years and a pet sitter for 2 years. As a dog walker I walk different breeds and sizes and know how to deal with each dog as an individual. I'm experienced with rescue dogs and have 2 of my own. I offer a dog sitting service in your dogs home environment so they feel safe and comfortable. I'm trustworthy and have experience in pet sitting my dog walking clients. I also have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages and can adapt the day to meet the individual dogs needs. If your dog has a routine that you would like me to stick to I am happy to follow that. Due to me being a full time dog walker I can only do pet sitting if you are within my area. I cover Bassett, Highfield, Chilworth, Shirley & Lordswood. I am mostly available weekend and can also be available during the holidays if booked with me in advance.

HiI have 2 pets, my cat Pheobe and my dog Archie. I love taking Archie out on longs walks through the woods and fields, Pheobe is a home bod and loves to curl up on your feet or right on top of you! Pheobe is a stay at home Cat, who isn't a fan of going outside, but loves nothing better than jumping on your lap for strokes and cuddles. She is quite shy to start with, until she gets to know you.I have previous experience with dogs, as before Archie, we had a Rough Collie called Bonnie, who passed away at the age of 13. Archie is 9 years old and a border collie, Pheobe is the same age! Archie enjoys swimming, it his favourite thing to do in the world! He is also a lover of cheese and peanut butter. Stops to get a tummy rub off of people he meets, and loves children having grown up with my daughter. I love animals, and would love to be able to look after and take care of yours whilst you are away.Have great availability, and a car available to travel to your home to look after your pets, and take them out for you. I love near Victoria Country park, which has many great walks, and lots of space for your dogs to run about.

Hello! We're Kez and James, a young couple married for just over two years with a shared passion for animals and travel. We love discovering new places while caring for pets as if they were our own. Over the years we've had the joy of looking after many dogs in either the homes of their owners, or in our own home. We often look after our two family Border Terriers - one is rather nervous and dog-shy - and our two lovely family cats. They're a a big part of our lives and have really helped us understand how different each pet's personality can be.
Our experience includes everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming, administering medication, and making sure your home stays clean and cared for whilst you're away. We understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable and safe, and we take pride in creating a calm, loving environment for them.
We're open to looking after most domestic pets, not just dogs and cats, and we're always open to discuss specific needs such as medication administration or specific routines or just to get to know us! If you're looking for trustworthy, experienced and loving sitters we would love to help!
In regards to our home stays, James works full time from home so there would rarely be a moment alone for your loved ones or your home. This also comes with the benefits of being in for deliveries and watering plants etc!
We can't wait to meet you and your little furry friends!
