Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Chipping Sodbury home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Chipping Sodbury.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Chipping Sodbury home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello! I’m Laura, a friendly and reliable primary school teacher based in Horfield, Bristol. My work with young children has made me patient, responsible, and attentive—qualities that I bring to pet sitting too. While I can’t have a pet of my own at the moment, animals have always been a big part of my life, and I know how much joy and comfort they bring. Caring for other people’s pets is a wonderful way for me to stay connected to that love.
I offer daily visits within a commutable distance of BS7 and can help with all aspects of cat care, including feeding, cleaning litter trays, and administering medication if required. Most importantly, I make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m also happy to water plants and bring bins in or out, so you can have peace of mind about your home too.
I’d be delighted to care for your pets as if they were my own!

Happy to care for dogs, cats, and other animals, and I have a lot of availability over the summer holidays. I have two lovely cats that I care for, and have fostered cats in the past. I love taking care of cats, and would treat yours with the same adoration. I am happy to house sit or drop in on cats, giving cuddles, litter care, treats and play time. Whilst respecting their comfort levels and boundaries. I also live with a dog, and take care of many different dogs on pet sitting sites across Bristol. I am a reliable, friendly, calm and down to earth presence for doggys. Happy to drive to your house or walk if you are in North Bristol. I can take your dog on walks, sit at your house on the weekends/ in the summer holidays, or drop in up to 2x a day. I will take on your needs and dogs personality, to tailor the experience for each individual and dog. I tailor walks and activities based on their age, energy level and individual needs, making sure they get appropriate exercise and enrichment.I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. If your pet is energetic, shy, nervous, or enjoys lots of attention, I take the time to get to know them and ensure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you're away.I demonstrate strong communication skills, as this is essential when caring for clients beloved pets. I'm happy to arrange a meet and greet before a booking to discuss your pets routine, preferences and specific requirements. Before each visit or stay, I ask detailed questions about feeding, exercise, medication, behaviour, emergency contacts and anything else they need. During visits, I keep owners updated with photos, videos and messages, so you can feel reassured your pet is in good hands. I have professional experience sitting dogs on other pet sitting sites, and have 5 star reviews and repeat customers. Your pets safety and well-being are my top priorities. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will remain calm and follow any instructions you have provided, whilst seeking relevant vet care if appropriate. My goal is to provide loving, attentive care that gives both pets and owners peace of mind.

Hello! I’m a passionate pet lover with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats. Growing up surrounded by animals, I developed a deep connection with them, learning how to keep them happy and healthy. At 18, I started walking my neighbor’s dog, transforming her into a more energetic, healthier pup through regular walks and care. That experience inspired me to pursue pet care full-time. Now, I’m thrilled to offer dog walking and pet sitting services at your home, tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I’m active, happy, trustworthy, and dedicated to making every moment special—whether it’s long walks, playful fetch, or cozy cat cuddles. I’m pursuing a pet care certification to enhance my skills and provide top-notch service. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, ensuring peace of mind. Let me bring joy and comfort to your pet’s day!

My love for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my teenage years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for a whole menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even chickens!I have a calm, loving, and confident presence, shaped by many years of working with children and people with disabilities. Animals—especially cats and dogs—seem to sense this and quickly feel safe, relaxed, and at ease around me.I’ve cared for animals of all ages, including those who were ill, anxious, or had experienced trauma, and I’ve always found these experiences deeply rewarding, gentle, and even joyful. With a nursing degree, I’m comfortable administering medication, providing basic wound care (following veterinary guidance), and preparing food for pets with special dietary needs.I also bring over 20 years of experience supporting vulnerable people, often in their own homes, so I naturally treat other people’s spaces with great care and respect. For the past 15 years, I’ve also been caring for animals in a semi-professional, word-of-mouth capacity.I also enjoy sharing lovely daily photo and video updates on request, so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away.
Every pet is unique, so everything I offer is shaped around their individual needs and daily routine. Plenty of TLC, walks, playtime, chill-out moments, and calm, reassuring time are always on the menu I always take the time to get to know my new animal friend — their likes and dislikes, diet, habits, and what helps them feel happy and safe. Our time together is 100% tailored to them. For some pets, that might mean lots of playful, active connection; for others, it’s all about a quiet, loving presence and gentle care. And often, it’s a mix of everything in between. This is my first time on Pawshake and I’m really looking forward to meeting you—and your furry (and feathered!) family

As a 20-year-old student working part-time at a local bookshop, I have always had a deep love for animals and a natural talent for caring for them. Balancing my studies and job, I find pet sitting to be a rewarding and fulfilling way to spend my time, combining my passion for animals with my sense of responsibility and dedication.

My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from the joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. I believe that pets deserve the best care possible, especially when their owners are away. This allows me to offer a reliable and loving service, ensuring that each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in my care.

I have previous experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. This experience has taught me the importance of understanding each pet’s unique needs and routines, allowing me to provide personalised care that keeps them happy and healthy. I am comfortable administering medications, following special dietary instructions, and offering plenty of playtime and affection.

For the safety and well-being of all pets in my care, I do require that pets be vaccinated. This ensures a healthy environment for everyone and gives pet owners peace of mind.

In addition to my love for animals, my part-time job at the bookshop has helped me develop strong time management and organizational skills. These qualities enable me to provide dependable and attentive care for your pets, making me a trustworthy choice for your pet sitting needs. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and providing them with the best care possible while you’re away! ^-^
