Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Cholsey home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Cholsey.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Cholsey home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello there! I am a passionate, caring and reliable pet sitter who truly believes that pets are family. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and becoming a pet sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with a meaningful service that helps owners feel completely at ease. My motivation comes from the joy I see in happy, relaxed pets and the trust that their owners place in me! Dog WalkingWhether your dog needs a quick walk to stretch their legs or a longer outing to burn off energy, I provide safe, attentive walks tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m happy to work with different ages, sizes, and energy levels, making sure your dog gets the exercise, stimulation, and care they deserve. Home VisitsIf your pet prefers to stay in the comfort of their own home, I can stop by for visits to feed them, refresh water, clean litter trays or cages, give medication if needed, and of course spend time giving them attention and play. This is perfect for cats, small pets, or dogs who just need a check-in during the day.I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, including but not limited to daily walks, overnight stays, feeding routines, medication administration, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. I’ve previously looked after energetic puppies, senior pets needing extra patience, and shy rescue animals who required gentle reassurance. I always provide updates and photos throughout so you feel connected while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities.

I’m a university student at the University of Reading studying for my Environmental Science undergraduate degree, with a genuine love for animals and their wellbeing.
Alongside my studies, I’m currently working towards my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award - nearly there! and starting this year to volunteer with Soulscape at Reading Festival, as well as being a leader with Girlguiding. These experiences have made me responsible, reliable, and confident in caring for others.I hold a recent enhanced DBS check, so you can feel assured your pet and home are in safe hands. I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and in their routine, and I’d love the opportunity to provide that care while also supporting myself through my studies.
Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pet like my own. ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. offering persitting in your home, drop ins, and walks.
