I currently run my own Tree Surgery business but working with dogs is something I have wanted to do for many years and I am now finally taking the steps to make this happen!
Even though I am just starting out my dog care business life I do have previous experience with all dog sizes from small to giant breeds.&nbsp;
I do not judge based on breed or behaviour issues and I am happy to care for all dogs and their individual needs.&nbsp;
Been an owner of a reactive dog myself I understand the difficulties that you can face and I have learnt to read dog body language well, doing much research and learning into this subject so I am able to spot triggers early and improvise as needed to keep your dog happy and safe.
Our walks will also be structured different and wouldn't just be a boring walk around the field but would include basic training, sniffing games, play time and mental stimulation to gauntee a happy, content and tired pooch!
Our group walks would be limited to no more then 4 dogs per walk to garuntee time, affection and enrichment is met equally.
During house visits and house sittings the same care would be given as on walks. It wouldn't just be in &amp; out for toilet breaks but basic training (including play time) would be part of the service and making your dog happy would be number 1 priority.
Walks will be trackable and full DBS will be available to view.
I shall be covering Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley for 30 or 60 minute walks, house visits for toilet breaks &amp; training and house sitting as required.&nbsp;

Hi I'm Amy, I'm 31 years old and based in Swinton, Rotherham.&nbsp;I have many years experience cat sitting and dog walking, along with experience of caring for and handling other animal types through my own previous pets and college studies.&nbsp;I am currently studying Animal Management full time, work part-time in cleaning, and also provide regular pet sitting for private clients alongside my Pawshake profile.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have grown up with pets such as cats (both indoor and outdoor), hamsters, gerbils, fish and budgies. I am currently very pleased to be sharing my home with my own cat shaped fluff called Ziggy.&nbsp;I'm open to any queries about visit times and I am available on weekends. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and would be more than happy to do a pre meet to make sure I'm the right sitter for your pet. I&nbsp;am available for visits of 1 or 2 times a day, dog walking, and house sitting/night sits if required. I would also be happy to meet specific time requirements for visits as I know pets can have varying needs.&nbsp;During visits I would be happy to send photos, videos and updates of your pet while you're away if that is something you would like and I would also be happy to complete light domestic duties if requested such as washing pots, watering plants and taking bins out. I have owned dogs all my life, and currently have the cutest 6 year old English springer spaniel called Alfie who we have had since a puppy. He is very energetic and loves long walks, but will love just as much to come and cuddle with you. Growing up, I had a black Labrador, which is where my love for dogs began. 

I have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs as well as different ages and different energy levels.
I am great with energetic young dogs as well as laid back sleepy dogs. 
I love taking energetic dogs to new places to explore but also chilling out with laidback sleepy dogs who just like a short stroll. 
I am here to make sure your furry friends needs are fully met and I will ensure to make them feel extra loved while you are away! 

Along with this, I am happy to care for multiple pet households such as multiple dogs or a mix of dogs &amp; cats! Please let me know if there is any extra care needed such as ensuring dogs &amp; cats are kept separate etc.

I have a fairly flexible schedule and can fit in multiple visits a day as well as staying overnight

I have been around dogs my whole life. I adore them. My motivation is to ensure your dogs have a great time with me and I'm giving them the best care possible. Im just going to be offering dog walking as I live in student accommodation and are not able to have dogs stay over at the moment I am so sorry but I promise you that your dog would have lots of fun if I take them out for walks. I'm choosing to do this as it is very flexible around my university schedule. We had a family dog who was called Bruce I walked him nearly every night apart from when I was walking late. On these walks I would try my best to learn him how to sit and wait before crossing the road and continually put effort into teaching him how not to jump as cars driving past. We would take walks around a country park that was where we lived and he adored being able to take In all the different smells. I can't wait to be walking your dogs.

I’ve had dogs for over 25 years and have always grown up around pets, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I’m DBS checked and fully insured too, so you can have extra peace of mind.
I offer dog walking, pop-in visits and boarding for dogs, cats and small pets. Dog walks are usually 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on your dog and what suits them best. I like to keep the number of dogs I walk at one time low so they get plenty of attention, and I’m happy to do solo walks if that would suit your dog better. Pop-in visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, letting pets out, giving medication if needed, playtime, cuddles and company. Boarding is very much a home-from-home service, where pets are treated like part of the family and kept to their usual routine as much as possible.
I’m happy to help with regular bookings, occasional cover and holiday care, depending on availability. If there was ever an emergency, I would contact you straight away and/or any other emergency contact. If needed, I would take your pet to your registered vet or the nearest available vet. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first.
