Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Dunstable home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Dunstable.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Dunstable home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! My name is Jessie and I am passionate about pets so much so that I work with them everyday!! I work at a luxury cat hotel caring for the needs of various breeds of cats while their owners are away. I have gained experience with all kinds of breeds and tempremant of cat including maine coons, cornish rexes, sphynx , moggies and many more!! But also dogs as well, as I have done dog walking and sitting for over 6 years now. I love cats and dogs alike! I own my own cat Nero who is a 14 year old tabby with a big personality and a spunky russian blue cross called Gretel along with my kitten Robyn!!I also have a level 2 diploma in feline care and behaviour which along with fundamental knowledge in caring for cats has taught me basic first aid skills which can also be applied to our doggy friends.

Hi! My name is Jess and I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes. I have had dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters, so please send through any enquiries.
I have had a couple years of experience in house sitting for cats and dogs, and also dog walking, so I offer an array of services.
I will walk your dogs per household (so if you have multiple dogs in one household, I can walk these together, otherwise I will not mix dogs from different households). I have a German shepherd and a Labrador and so I am used to big dogs who require a stronger arm.
I will cater to your needs and make sure that your fur friend is loved and safe when in my care!
Please feel free to reach out and I will provide you with further information regarding my services. I am based in Hemel Hempstead and Weybridge.

Hi, we’re Gina & Ria - a mother & daughter cat-sitting duo.
We unintentionally fell into the wonderfully rewarding world of pet-sitting, after selling all our possessions to become digital nomads in June 2022.
We set off for what has been one of the best adventures of our lives, spending time in Thailand, Vietnam, Mauritius, Malaysia & the Canary Islands.
Last year we joined a housesit site and have fallen in love with so many cats that we are now completely hooked.
Gina is a retired teacher, author of 3 poetry and 1 short story book and a Happiness Coach.
Ria is an Empath coach, meditation teacher and Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner.
We are both vegan, animal lovers and reiki practitioners. We are often told by our clients that our great energy has a positive and calming effect on their kitties.
Two of our greatest loves are cats and travel.
That’s why it’s so important to us that your kitties receive all the love and stability they need whilst your away.
We understand that every cat is different and has it’s own personality, preferences and set of needs. Consequently we take the time to understand your cats unique needs so that we can tailor our approach and ensure your cats receive their upmost emotional and physical comfort.
We want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing that your home and cat/s are being well taken care of.
We usually send daily updates, photos and videos so you can see your kitties are settled and happy.
