Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your East Kilbride home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like East Kilbride.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your East Kilbride home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I have been looking after and walking dogs since the age of 12, my family members and friends often rely on my to take their dogs on toilet breaks and walks allowing them to get exercise when their owners are unable to do so. For the past five years I have been dog sitting in owners homes while they are on holiday to ensure as little disruption to the pets life as possible and allowing them to stay in a routine. Animals have always had such a special place in my heart, they bring so much unconditional love and joy and companionship into our lives. Being a pet sitting and dog walker allows me to give that love right back. I do what I do because every pet deserves to feel safe, loved and cared for even when their favourite humans are away.
Whether it's a long walk, cuddle on the couch or just keeping them in a consistent routine, I take pride in making every pet feel comfortable and loved, as I know how much peace of mind this gives to pet parents. Which is why I treat every pet as if they were my own.

Hi! I'm a passionate, experienced and fully insured pet sitter and dog walker with 3 years of hands-on experience. I am also trained in pet first aid and CPR. I currently have 25 five-star reviews on a well-known pet sitting platform, and I’m proud to have built trust with so many pet owners. I’ve been actively pet sitting since March 2022, and I recently made the exciting decision to leave my full-time job to pursue this work full-time — caring for animals is what I truly love doing.
During this time, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after a wide variety of dogs and cats, each with their own personalities, ages, and unique needs. I’ve also cared for pets with medical conditions, including administering daily insulin injections for a diabetic dog.
I offer dog walking, overnight stays, feeding, and general pet care. I’m available Monday to Sunday. Your pet will always be treated with love, care and my full attention.

I’m a big animal lover with a soft spot for both cats and dogs. I didn’t get the chance to have pets growing up due to family reasons, so I really value any time I get to spend with them now. Being a pet sitter is a great way for me to do something I genuinely enjoy while helping owners feel at ease.
I’m friendly, patient, and easygoing, and I try to make every pet feel comfortable and cared for. I understand that each animal has its own personality, whether they’re playful and energetic or more quiet and independent.
I have experience looking after my partner’s cat and dogs, including feeding, walking, and spending time with them. I’ve also done dog walking before, so I’m confident handling dogs outside.
I’d treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after :)

Hello, I'm Kitty I live in a very spacious apartment in Leith with a gated courtyard and a nice patch of grass next door.
I offer discount for leith residents as I add travel cost into prices, but as a leith local, if you live 20 minutes or less walking you get a sweet discount.I can walk your dog as long as needed as i know different breeds of dogs need longer and shorter, i can walk 2 pully small/medium dogs at a time or 3 small/medium behaved dogs at a time. I offer HOME VISITS AROUND LEITH AND EDINBURGH CITY AREA ONLY, as I use public transport.
Im a 5 minute walk to leith links and various other parks and I have experience with pets on public transport so I have taken pets to the beach for a good run around. In December of 2020 I graduated from Leeds Art University with a bachelors in photography so you are guaranteed amazing pics of your babies but currently I am working full-time 9-5 Tuesday to Saturday soy schedule is a little busy but I'll always make time.
I also have experience with medium and large dogs having had a dalmation, boxer, and lurcher growing up. I currently owning 2 incredibly bouncy cocker spaniels. the 2 terriers are very good when I walk them but the spaniels are very difficult dogs so I know how to keep control of bouncy babies.
I do have a police security check that I am happy to show. obtaining it when I was supposed to work at summer camp in the US before covid got too out of hand.
I don't drive however I am within walking distance from parks and the oceanfront.
I want to do this because I love animals and my house isn't big enough to look after all of them at once.

I have always been an animal lover, having grown up with dogs all my life and having worked at a refuge for cats and dogs in Greece run by my uncle. I have a natural affinity with animals and am very patient and caring. Having lifelong experience of looking after dogs, I am able to keep control of them during walks without resorting to shouting, and am very aware of the specific needs of different types of dog, whether that be lengths of walks or quantities of food. I have also looked after friends' cats while they've been away, and love to play with them and keep them company! I am currently unable to look after pets in my flat as my flatmates suffer from allergies, and so I would love the chance to walk, look after and hang out with dogs and cats whenever possible. cats and dogs of all dispositions welcome!
