Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your East Tilbury home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like East Tilbury.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your East Tilbury home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello, I'm Arianna and I am here offering my services because I adore animals. I have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I understand the difficulties of not always being able to be there for your pets. Now that I have a lot more free time on my hands and am looking into being a pet sitter full time rather than part time like I have been. I've cared for a wide range of dogs and covered breeds from Rottweiler to Doberman, French bulldog to shepherds and springers. In the past I've also cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs and other small animals of that sort. Cats will always have my heart most due to my own stealing my heart before I had the dogs. Being able to care for animals and make them happy gives me such.
In terms of other forms of experience, I've had to give animals different forms of medications such as eye drops, pills and more and have worked to ensure I can deliver the medications in the most effective and caring way possible. Walking dogs isn't just a chore to me, it's a great way to help the mind and give the dog some exercise that it's bound to love.
My services include house sitting, overnight stays, walks and more!

I’m a friendly, reliable and genuinely animal obsessed dog sitter who has grown up around dogs my whole life. Being 27 and having lived in a dog household since I was young means I’m confident handling all types of dogs, from tiny high energy breeds to large, strong dogs and older companions who need a gentler pace.
I offer dog walking, drop ins and home boarding or daycare. I’m used to managing different routines, personalities and needs, and I tailor each day to the dog, whether they need long stimulating walks, structured play, slow calming time or a predictable routine. I’m also comfortable giving oral medication, sticking to training rules and supporting dogs who are nervous or still learning.
For boarding and daycare, dogs stay in my family home which is quiet, safe and dog friendly. We have a fully enclosed garden and a big field just three minutes away, so dogs get plenty of safe exercise and sniffing time. Dogs are never left alone for long, and I always follow the owner’s preferences for feeding, crate use, boundaries and behaviour.
Safety is always my priority. Owners provide their dog’s usual lead or harness, and I handle them confidently on walks, keeping distance from overstimulating dogs and calmly redirecting excitement or pulling. At home, I keep doors and gates secured and make sure the environment is calm and predictable, especially for anxious or first time boarders.

Hi! I’m Halle, an animal lover with a lifelong passion caring for pets.
I love giving animals cuddles and attention, but I’m just as happy keeping them company while they relax. I have hands-on experience such as currently working in a kennel and cattery, where I care for cats and dogs through walking, feeding, administering medication, cleaning, and ensuring their health and safety. I’ve also completed courses in animal behaviour and hold a Pet Psychology Diploma.

Growing up, my home was always full of animals, and I’ve rescued several along the way. My most recent, Marshmallow, a sweet cat with medical issues and an unfortunate feral background. He taught me the importance of patience and gentle care. I am very comfortable working with anxious or nervous animals, always focusing on helping them feel secure and minimising stress.

I know how hard it is to leave your pets, so I treat every animal as if they were my own by offering love, attention, and consistent care. I’m also happy to keep you updated for extra peace of mind. Nothing makes me happier than helping animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved, whether through cuddles, companionship, or attentive care tailored to their needs🤍

You could probably open a zoo with the amount of animals I've had to look after / own / care for! My childhood has always been surrounded by furry friends and even when younger my parents used to dog sit! I've got a little experience of playing and looking after ferrets and cats but my biggest knowledge is dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm available throughout the day at different times but happy to adjust to your animal's needs if there's a specific time required. If your animal is a nervous one, we can arrange a meet up so that it's not a stranger on their first meet in their home. Home visits can be adjusted, I set the times for 30 mins or an hour but if more / less is needed just let me know. Walks can also be adjusted depending on the fitness level, age and demand of your pet. I also love taking photos so the chances are you'll have a pet photoshoot included! By day to day I'm cabin crew due to my restricted flying hours I get a lot of time off and with plans to hopefully buy my own home next year with my partner, I'm looking to earn some extra money to help us get there a little bit quicker! It's vital for an animal to get their daily walks and exercise and sometimes life gets in the way of being able to get them the full attention they deserve. If you have any questions, doubts or worries, drop me a message and I'm always happy to send updated pictures and messages to reassure you that your furry child is in great hands!

Hey there! I'm a genuine animal lover who has spent plenty of time looking after my friends and familiy's dogs. I am solely working from home with a very flexible schedule, so your dog will never be short on attention. I'm all about getting outside, morning and afternoon walks are always better with a dog by your side! I have a medium sized flat with a garden and live in a very dog friendly area with plently of walking paths.Your dog will be treated like family, safe, happy and well cared for while they're with me. Looking forward to meeting your furry pal! When booking please remember to notify me of any health issues, dietary requirements, behavioural issues or anything else of note. Feel free to message me with any queries or to discuss anything with me!P.S I will send you daily pictures and videos to let you know your pet is safe and happy at all times.
