Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Farnham Common home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Farnham Common.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Farnham Common home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I have 4 years house and petsitting experience with young and older dogs. I have an up to date DBS as I currently work a part time careworker. I have more than 40 years as a pet owner including caring for senior dogs. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. My motto: "A home is not a home without pets". Dogs I have owned include a Staffordshire named Queenie, who lived 12 years and then rescue Daschunds, Cheeky (13 years) and Molly, who had cancer. We also had a mixed Scotty- Staffy named Nicky who was 15 years old. Cats who were my boss, include Moeshie and Kitsie, a ginger cat, who loved her food and Mishy who is 12 years old.I have references from regular pet and housesits in Maidenhead, Berkshire. One regular client had 4 rescued Daschunds. When I do a housesit, I care for your home, garden and pets, 24/7, go on walks, play tug of war games, throw tennis ball and I have loads of love to give. I also cook special vet approved meals for dogs, for example chicken fillets, carrots and rice.

Hi! My name is Ewa. I am a student living in UK. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always looking after homeless dogs and cats. Later, I was lucky enough to meet my baby, Brytan - He's the Westie in my pictures. He is also the one I miss the most when I am abroad.
I want to spend extra time with animals because they have always been an important part of my life, and honestly, I feel quite lonley without them. I am happy to petsit just about any kind of pet.
I've often petsat for my friends and family - fish, hamsters, cats, dogs, birds - you name it. I also have experience heping on a farm, taking care of cows, horses and sheep. I am responsible, flexible and experienced with many different types of animals.
I am available Monday to Friday after 4p.m., and on weekends I have full avaibility. I live near Hayes and Harlington, and since my school is Hoxton, I am happy too travel between zones 1 and 5. Unfortunatley dueto my housing situation I am not able to offer any service at my own home.
I am looking forward making new furry (and fearhery!) friends!

I am 52 years of age I have had dogs for the last 25 years ranging from Great Dane , Mastiff to Bull Dogs I have house sat for Labradors, golden doodle, shutouts, jack Russell, border collie, German shepherd/border collie cross, a mongrel,a bull dog and French bull dog, daschund, Gordon Setter, cavapoo, cocker poo and a Rottweiler a variety of cats one being completely blind. I work in HR and work remotely so as long as I have an internet connection I can work anywhere
I will love your pets like they were my own and shower them with loads of love and affection I love to go on long walks and have big furry cuddles this has become like my therapy where I go and look after peoples pets and love them and give them their home comforts. As long as my work allows I will walk dogs and if they have set routines where they meet up with furry friends I will try my hardest to ensure their routine is not affected.
I love to travel and I'm using this experience to see the uk and make new fur baby friends
I do not drive but travel to my sits on the train or tube if in London and walk all dogs in the local area meeting up with doggy friends to try to give the dogs I'm looking after their usual daily routine
I work from home on a permanent basis so other than maybe going out on my own to get some shopping or necessities I will be at home with your pets and ensure they have as good an experience without their owners as is possible

I had dog in my house since the day I was born. We had 3 dogs so far until the last one died and we decided not to get another one as we were so attached and disheartened after his loss. I have cared for my friends and family’s dog since then. Not just when they were away but even on weekends as I enjoy spending time with them. They genuinely make me happy. My recent experience of pet sitting was for my friend’s dog in Didcote, Oxford where she had plans to leave for Italy to deliver a workshop where on a very short notice she asked me to pet sit her 2 rescued dogs which I had never met before but we had wonderful 2 weeks together by playing in the garden or watching cartoon which they really loved! :)
Dogs do make me happy and I love having them around me.
I coexist with the dog and alter my schedules accordingly on the day I dog sit. I pet them like a friend and play with them to keep them engaged. I

With 22 years of experience growing up around a range of house pets (Dogs, Cats, Hamsters) and a small stint at BCA college doing an animal management course, has made me find a passion for caring for animals and I find myself wanting to make a switch into the animal care industry.
I'd like to build some experience through this as well some customer relations with the services I offer. I hope to have reoccurring customers that can entrust their animals to me on a weekly/monthly basis.

What I offer?
I currently only offer dog walking to help me build some experience. (My planned routes currently are - Burnham Beeches, Kennedy Park Fields, Burnham Village Fields, Baylis Court Fields. Other routes can be worked out if the distance is too far between)
I do later plan to do home stays and possibly some training sessions once I get my footing.

Why me?
* I have planned local routes safe for your dog to explore.
* I've got prior experience walking my own personal dogs as well as other friend's dogs. The largest dog being a border collie.
* I can make a care plan based on your dog's needs if necessary. (information will be needed)
* Fast and Reliable responses and can update you on your dog if needed.

In Emergencies!
I currently cannot drive and am working on getting my license. If your dog suffers from any diseases that need treatment please notify me in the booking, i will try to accommodate to their needs. In the event I cannot meet their needs a cancellation of your booking may take effect.
In the event your dog suffers any injuries or suddenly requires veterinary treatment, you will be contacted as well as your registered vet. I will do everything in my power to get attention to your animal to prevent any unwanted mishaps.

I am a responsible, caring, and patient person with a genuine love for animals, which is the main reason I want to work as a pet sitter. For me, pets are not just animals, but family members who deserve attention, safety, and emotional comfort when their owners are away. My motivation comes from wanting to provide pets with a calm, loving, and stress-free environment, where their routines, needs, and personalities are respected.
I have previous experience caring for pets, especially cats. I am a cat owner myself and currently have a Burmese cat, which has taught me a lot about daily care, hygiene, feeding schedules, playtime, and understanding animal behavior. Through this experience, I have learned to notice small changes in mood or health and to respond calmly and responsibly. I am also comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care, and spending quality time playing and bonding with pets.

I'm a 30 year old therapist living who works remotely, living in London with my partner in a flat that doesn't allow for animals. As a result we do semi-regular animal house sitting on TrustedHouseSitters, having looked after predominantly small 3-5kg dogs, but also labs and retrievers more recently. I have sat up to 3 dogs at the same time, in case you are looking for someone with experience with multiple dogs simultaneously. I have also looked after dozens of cats too, up to 4 cats simultaneously. As well as doing 7-10 day housesits roughly once a month, I am now looking for some more regular animal interactions in the mornings and evenings before and after work, so that I can bring lots of love and energy to give all your furries as a result, whatever their age or temperament.I have had cats and dogs in my family home in Horsham my entire life but struggle to find the time to see my dog there. My mum struggles with long term health conditions and so I use some of my earnings here and from my private dogsitting business to pay for a dog walker in Horsham to tend to my lovely white fluffy Japanese Spitz.I am happy to walk dogs during Tuesday-Friday for up to 45 minutes before 8am and 45 minutes after 5:30pm provided you live in Harrow. I can offer my services any time on weekends and Mondays, particularly with some notice. I typically stay on lead, unless we do a face to face or virtual walk together where you show me your dogs recall and temperament around other dogs. If your dog prefers running I can also run with your dog on your lead as I'm accomplished at both 5km and 10km and have done lead running with other small dogs before. Finally, regarding housesitting, I am happy to come to your house to feed and play indoors with both dogs and cats. I have a full CRB check in case you wanted assurances given I am Cognitive behavioural therapist for profession.
