Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Forest Row home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Forest Row.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Forest Row home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello, my name is Esther, I live in Sussex, England and absolutely love dogs and all kinds of animals! I actually went to a secondary school with a farm and even took a course in animal care with a distinction grade result! Animals are my passion and I like to have a respectful approach to all animals of all temperaments, with full awareness that some animals are more timid than others, it would be my joy to look after an animal of yours and also look after your house whilst you are away, I can also water plants and keep everything in line whilst you are gone! I am a pet owner myself and have had rodents, and currently have two lovely bunnies and a cat whom I absolutely adore, I really love the presence of Dogs and am really looking forward to owning my own in the future!! It would be a real privilege to look after your dog whilst you are away and I would 100% treat him/ her like my own ️. I can walk, feed, and care for any kind of dog. As well as house-sitting.

..and, apart of loving animals 24/7, I'm a professional (an engineer), lucky enough to work remotely. I decided to combine flexibility at work with passion for taking care of pets. Could there be anything better than this? :)
I'm a very responsible and tidy person. I have my own flat, so I know how important is to take care of the property and how great it is, when others respect it as well.
I can promise, that I absolutely love animals and you can be assured I will take care of your pet as of my own :). All I need to know is, what they usually like to do, what's their routine, dietary requirements etc.
I have experience taking care of various animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, llamas and alpacas :)) . My parents used to have goats, and small African pigs which I can certainly add to my experience list! Currently, I cannot have a pet on my own and I'm dying to take care of some. So please, don't hesitate to contact me!
If that's of any help, apart of English, I speak fluently Spanish and Polish. I am also great at taking care of the plants.
I might ask you sometimes to have my partner with me, for the overnight stays.

Hi! My name is Ksenia, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I can’t have my own pet right now, so I would be truly happy to take care of yours while you’re away or busy.
I already have experience looking after and walking dogs of different breeds, including Weimaraner, French Bulldog, Dachshund, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, and German Shepherd. Each dog has its own personality, and I always try to find an individual approach — whether it’s fun walks, playtime, or calm moments at home.
I’m responsible, caring, and patient, and I make sure every pet feels comfortable, loved, and safe. I only take vaccinated pets into my home, as health and safety are always my top priority.
I’d be delighted to be your trusted helper and a new friend for your beloved pet!
Love pets so much
