Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Glen Parva home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Glen Parva.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Glen Parva home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I love cats and dogs and other small pets had them as pets for most of my life. I currently have two cats myself Luna and Lexie and I know the importance of your animals being able to stay in there own environment when you go away. The stress is enough going away without having to worry about your furry friends not being happy.I having experience in sitting as I am also on Rover and Cat in the Flat and I have been doing it as a part time job for over two years. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or want to ask me anything before booking. I look forward to hopefully looking after your furry friends in a way that gives you peace of mind knowing they are in good hands and safe so you can go about your travel stress free whether it be for work or leisure. When staying with your pet over night I will always check your preference on how long they can be left in day and what your expectations are so I can make sure I am meeting yours and your pets needs. I will always arrange a meet and greet before any sitting goes ahead this is to make sure we are a good fit and I can see you pets in there environment and also to speak about there routines what they like what they don't etc.

Merryn grew up around horses, dogs and cats and has been an animal from a very young age. Having looked after many family and friends animals whilst on holidays over the years she wondered if there was a way to offer affordable dog care in our own home.
With Sam working from home this means the animals have company all day long apart from the odd occasion for a couple of hours. Sam grew up around dogs his whole life with his family being successful greyhound trainers which means the house is just full of love for the animals. We want to make sure that everyone is happy, settled and calm when they are on holiday so we send updates throughout the duration of their stay to the owners.
We like to have a meet and great before hand to check we are all a right for and maybe a trial stopover if you are looking for a long stay with us to make sure your fur baby settled okay before your big holiday.
We can do house sits also but this has to be local to us and only occasionally can we allow for this. We can do doggy day care as well as drop ins.
We look forward to meeting owners and especially the animals so please don't hesitate to drop us a message to organise your next holiday cover.
We love what we do. Making our house, their home.

My name is Oktawia and together with my helper (my daughter) we are providing Home Away from Home Dog Sitting Services.
Taking care of dogs is not just a responsibility; it is a privilege. As a lifelong dog owner, I know firsthand the joy and companionship that a furry friend can bring into your life.
I’ve had the pleasure of caring for over 20 dogs in the past year, building incredible bonds with each one. Many of my clients return time and time again, trusting me to provide the best care for their beloved pets. I’d be happy to share over 20 glowing reviews from delighted customers!
I currently work part-time which leaves me with ample availability on week days and weekends to provide dog sitting services whether it's for a few hours or several days, I can offer my services to ensure that dogs are well taken care of in their owner's absence.
My schedule and flexibility make me a reliable and convenient option for dog owners in need of a trusted dog sitter. We have a dog-friendly fenced garden with lots of grass to give your pups the opportunity to exercise, play and sniff around whenever they please.
With us, your dog will experience love, care, and comfort while you're away, will be treated like family and be included in our day-to-day routine.

Hi I'm Jen and I would love to help care for your babies when you just want some time to yourselves. I love cats (especially the snuggly one's) and I do refer to myself as Auntie Jen to all my friends animals.
I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your babies will be looked after when you want to go on holiday or even those times when something unexpected happens.
I used to have 2 babies of my own called Tic & Tac. They were very well cared for but unfortunately my work changed and I had to rehome them. This took me 9 months! I had to make sure that they were being adopted by someone who was going to love them like me. It was genuinely the hardest decision I've ever had to make. But it was to ensure that they got more time and snuggles.
I am happy to offer short visits to over night stays. I will take care of your babies like they are my own and they will have nothing but love from me.
I am willing to travel a short while too. If you feel I may be too far away from you and want overnight stays, please drop me a message and I can let you know if you're too far way or not.
I am only wanting to look after cats.

Hi!
My name is Scarlett and i've always loved animals. I have a Cat of my own called Cody, we share a special bond since we homed him 12 years ago. I've always had a connection to animals as I am a very spiritual individual. I feel animals relax around me and we can form a deeper bond. I have also looked after and sifted for friends and family in the past.
with my relaxing nature& kindred spirit, my goal would to ensure your animal feels safe and comfortable around my energy. I love the nature and being outside, so if you have a dog full of energy, expect him to be sleepy once you get him back!
I am happy to look after your animal in your home and my home. Please bear in mind, I can only do day times for my home!
I am available to do doggy day care (at your home) dog walking, home visits and house sitting. It's the same with cats of course.
I have never mediated anybody else's pet, but I am happy to. I can only board one dog at a time, but cats I am happy with up to 3.
My dog walks are up to 3 hours, as I love to walk! My availability is Monday- Friday day times from my house, but evenings other homes if needed!
I work from home, but I would not work at the same time as looking after your pet (of course, they need all the attention!)
please keep in mind I have one pet in my home, a cat, so if your dog doesn't get along with them i'm happy to come to you!
my family are out in the day times, so it would only be me at my home. my gates are safe and secured and fully fenced, so no escape is possible!
if you have any further questions please do ask!
- Scarlett :)
