Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Greenhithe home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Greenhithe.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Greenhithe home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hiya! I'm Jaclyn, I recently moved to London as a postgraduate student in south London. I grew up around animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses, and I've often been my friends and family's go-to petsitter over the years, sitting for anything from a single dog to a couple dozen dogs, pigs, chickens, fish, and rabbits. My rates will vary on the number of animals and level of care needed, and I'm happy to work with pet parents to find a rate that works for both of us. I do not currently have any pets of my own, although I love them and find spending time with animals to be so rewarding and stress-reducing. As a student, I am only on my campus two days a week so my schedule is quite flexible. I'm comfortable around all animals and happy to provide supplements or medications on top of specific food diets as instructed. I am happy to offer overnight visits or just walks around the Woolwich or Greenwich areas. I always like to set up a brief meet-and-greet visit with pets and owners before I am caring for your pet alone to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable and I know everything I need to make sure your pet stays that way.

I am a Data Analyst at BAPAM, London. I am a proud mum of 5 dogs and grandmother to 3 pups. Hi there! I'm your go-to pet sitter in town, bringing love, laughter, and lots of tail wags to every visit! Whether it's a playful pup, a curious kitty, or a cuddly companion of any kind, I treat every pet like part of my own family. With a natural bond for animals and a heart full of care, I ensure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. From belly rubs and treat time to long walks and cozy cuddles, I’m all about making pets feel at home—even when they’re not. I'm reliable, flexible, and always happy to send pup-dates and pictures. Your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind are my top priorities. So whether it's a quick drop-in or an overnight stay, you can trust me to give your pet the care they deserve—with plenty of smiles along the way! Cheers

Hi, I’m Vasia, a cat sitter based in Woolwich, and I’d love to look after your furry friend while you’re away! I specialize in cat boarding, including overnight stays, and I only take a maximum of two cats at a time so every guest gets plenty of love and attention.
I’m a proud cat mum to Cosmo, my super friendly 8-month-old ragdoll. He’s fully vaccinated and up to date with all his treatments, and he absolutely loves meeting new kitty friends. Having Cosmo around makes this more than just a pet-sitting service—it’s an opportunity for your cat to socialize and play in a safe, loving environment.
We live in a spacious penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows, so there’s always something interesting for cats to watch—birdwatching is a daily highlight here! Our home has lots of cozy spots for naps, plus room to explore and play. I’m home 24/7 as I study remotely, and my partner works from home too, so your cat will never be left alone.
As a lifelong cat lover, I know how important it is to keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. I only accept fully vaccinated cats to ensure everyone’s safety, and I treat every cat as if they’re my own.
If you’re looking for a warm, friendly, and experienced cat sitter in Woolwich, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to book your cat’s stay. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

Hi! I'm Sameer, your favourite cat sitter!
As an owner of 3 cats myself, and caregiver of several street kitties in my area, cats have become a natural part of my life now - so much that I can't imagine a life without their chaotic energy!
When choosing me, I can guarantee that your furry feline will receive loads of cuddles and playtime, and physical affection (on their terms, of course!). You'll also get a cute photo of them every time I visit, because I know that pet owners sometimes need a bit of extra reassurance that their fur babies are doing okay.
I'm able to stick to strict feeding guidelines if necessary, and ensure multiple cats are fed the required amount of food they need - as an owner of 3 cats I often have to separate them from eating each others' food myself!
Drop me a message if you've got any questions!

Hi! My name is Giulia, and I’m a passionate dog lover with years of experience caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and I’m lucky enough to share my life with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is truly the light of my day. His gentle nature, loyalty, and endless affection have deepened my love for animals and inspired me to help other pet owners feel confident when they need someone to care for their furry companions.

In the comfort of your home, I offer a range of services to ensure your dog is happy, well-cared for, and loved in your absence. During home visits, I make sure your pet is fed, played with, and given the attention they deserve — whether that’s cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, or a bit of quiet company. I can also assist with administering medication or sticking to specific routines.

For dog walks, I provide fun and enriching outings tailored to your dog’s energy and personality. Whether they love a good run or a slow sniff around the block, I make sure their time outside is enjoyable and safe.

I’m available for dog walks and home visits from 6:00 PM on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and throughout the day on weekends, including both mornings and afternoons.

I also offer house sitting services on weekends, staying in your home to ensure your pet has companionship and comfort while you’re away. I know how important it is for dogs to stay in their familiar environment, and I do everything I can to make them feel secure and loved.

Dogs bring so much joy, and I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. With a calm, gentle approach and lots of affection, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for at all times.

I do prefer vaccinated dogs, as it’s important to ensure the health and well-being of all pets involved. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and truly enthusiastic about dogs, I’d love to help care for yours!

Hi I'm Luke,
I'm 31, and live in the E16 area with my Fiance my newly born daughter and our lovely dog Pickle, a Welsh terrier.

Pets are such a special part of our lives.I know how much your pet means to you, and that you want someone who is going to treat them with care and attentiveness. I can ensure that I'll listen carefully to your indivi needs for your pet, and make it my mission to keep them safe, happy and cared for.
I offer dog-walking and dog sitting. Cat sitting, any other petting sitting and maintenance.
I have 15 years prior experience caring for pets.
Price can be negotiated depending on what you can afford. But generally I charge £15 per hour, or £95 for the whole day. If your pet needs looking after full time for the whole week I will generally charge £500. Again, can be negotiated.
