Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Hildenborough home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Hildenborough.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Hildenborough home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Lifelong dog lover and proud Shih Tzu owner offering friendly, reliable dog walking and home-from-home care. I’ve grown up around dogs and understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels. I have experience with small breeds, puppies, and nervous dogs, and I always take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe, relaxed, and happy in my care.
Walks are usually 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time so every dog receives proper supervision, attention, and a safe experience. Dogs staying with me enjoy regular toilet breaks, playtime, affection, exercise, and a cosy, clean home environment alongside my friendly Shih Tzu. Pets are rarely left alone for more than short periods, and I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
Safety is very important to me. I always keep dogs secure on walks, carefully introduce new dogs, and make sure pets have a calm sleeping area and constant access to fresh water. In emergencies or unexpected situations, I stay calm, contact owners immediately, and seek veterinary help if needed. I’m also looking to continue building my experience and qualifications in pet care to provide the best possible service for every dog I meet.

Hi! My name is Ksenia, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I can’t have my own pet right now, so I would be truly happy to take care of yours while you’re away or busy.
I already have experience looking after and walking dogs of different breeds, including Weimaraner, French Bulldog, Dachshund, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, and German Shepherd. Each dog has its own personality, and I always try to find an individual approach — whether it’s fun walks, playtime, or calm moments at home.
I’m responsible, caring, and patient, and I make sure every pet feels comfortable, loved, and safe. I only take vaccinated pets into my home, as health and safety are always my top priority.
I’d be delighted to be your trusted helper and a new friend for your beloved pet!
Love pets so much
