Hello, I’m an experienced pet lover with hands-on experience caring for my spouse’s Scottish Fold cat for the past 5 years, and we’ve also had a Chinchilla for the last 3 years. Home Visits:I can stay for longer home visits, depending on my schedule. To ensure the best care, it would be great to discuss the specific times beforehand. In addition to caring for your pets, I am happy to help with tasks like watering plants and bringing in the mail. If the pet owner allows, my spouse may accompany me during these visits.
Dog Walking:I usually walk dogs in local parks, as I enjoy spending time in nature with my spouse. If permitted by the pet owner, my spouse may also join us during the walks. I am available to walk dogs during the day and can walk up to two dogs at a time. However, I do not have experience administering medication to dogs, nor have I trained any dogs.
House Sitting:When house sitting, I can ensure the safety of your pets and home by keeping windows secured and closing the doors to rooms if I air out the house. I am experienced in taking care of pets for friends and am careful to make sure they are always safe in the home environment. I can stay at the owner's house for longer periods if needed, depending on my schedule. It’s best to discuss the timing with the pet owner beforehand to make suitable arrangements.&nbsp;
Cat Care:I have extensive experience with cats, including administering oral medication and cleaning litter boxes. I can host cats at my home for longer periods and provide a comfortable environment for them. Cats can sleep wherever they like in our home, including with us if they choose!
Home Environment:I live in a two-bedroom flat with my spouse and our two cats. Unfortunately, we can only offer care for cats in our home. We do not have a backyard, but our home is pet-friendly, and we ensure a safe and loving environment for all pets under our care.
Availability:I am mostly at home during the day while studying for my medical exams. Home visits and walks can be flexible, depending on my study schedule. It's best to reach out, and we can arrange a suitable time. I am also generally available during the evenings and on weekends.&nbsp;


After years of looking after my own cats, and cat sitting friends' and families' cats when they go on holiday, I've decided to finally set myself up as a cat sitter and start doing the thing I love the most full-time!I'm DBS checked, and am currently working with the Animal Care College to achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Feline First Aid.&nbsp;I believe every cat has their own distinct personality and I love getting to know each and every one.&nbsp;During my visits I like to take the time to let the cats get to know me, to have a good sniff and find out where I've come from. I got my first cat, a gorgeous long-haired rescue called Benny, when I was 18, and I haven't been without a cat since - in fact I usually have two. My cats are both indoor cats as we live near busy roads, but we are big outdoor animal fans too, and have feeders for birds and squirrels that we regularly replenish in our garden. Please provide bags, lead &amp; a toy of preference :)Daily drop ins - For these visits I will typically pop in for a couple of hours to provide a nice bit of company for your pet. During this time I will give them a fuss, have some playtime, refresh their water, put out fresh food and clean any litter that needs doing.Animal boarding at your house - I shall look after both your pet and home at the same time! Your pet will be brushed, fed, watered and loved and the safety of your property will be my upmost priority during my stay. I will ensure everything is left clean and tidy, plants are watered and Mail is brought in.
