Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Kempston home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Kempston.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Kempston home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I’m a caring, patient and responsible pet lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I’ve always had a soft spot for pets and grew up with cats in Sri Lanka, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for many years. I also regularly help care for a cat, so I’m comfortable with feeding, playtime, keeping pets company and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and cared for.
I’m currently offering cat visits, dog walking and house sitting. For cat visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, litter care, playtime and plenty of attention, while following your pet’s usual routine and any specific instructions you leave. I understand that cats can have very different personalities, so I’m happy to give a shy cat space or spend more time playing and cuddling with a sociable one.
I’m also keen to build my experience with dogs through dog walking. I’m comfortable starting with friendly, manageable dogs and will always take the time to understand their personality, routine and walking needs before a booking.
I’m mainly available at weekends and will always treat your home and your pet with care and respect. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated during visits so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being looked after.
My priority is simple: happy pets, peace of mind for their owners, and a reliable service you can feel comfortable booking again.

I’ve been a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady" for as long as I can remember, and my passion for cats has only grown over the past six years. From playful kittens to sleepy seniors, my heart flutters whenever I see them. My experience includes caring for a cat with bronchitis for four years, which involved giving medication, nightly nebulizing treatments, and ensuring comfort. Grooming, such as brushing fur and cleaning ears, is part of our daily routine as i pwned a Persian cat with long coat. I take pride in maintaining a tidy and calm environment for them. Beyond tasks, I’ve developed a deep understanding of cats’ moods and needs, whether they’re in the mood for play, food, or a cozy nap. Each cat’s unique personality fascinates me, and I love getting to know them. I’d be delighted to be your go-to cat-sitter, offering love, care, and plenty of snuggles to your feline friend(s) while you’re away!
