I know when to give the pet their space and to respect their boundaries. Open communication and clear instructions from owners are very important for pets with extra needs. I am very calm and can work under pressure. I am someone you want in times of need.&nbsp;

For cat pop-ins, I will include cleaning the litterbox, playing with them, cuddling, petting,snuggling or simply keeping them company for at least 30mins

How do my services work? During initial contact, I will send you some introductory information about myself and the services I provide. This information includes a Pet and Owner questionnaire which I ask is filled out as best as you can with as much detail as possible. This includes information about you, your pet's routine, and your pet's needs. It gives me all the information I need to provide the best standard of care.
I will then arrange a one-hour Meet and Greet with you, where I will meet you and your pets and discuss all details of the pet service you require. This gives you a chance to ask any questions and discuss anything you need with me. And gives me a chance to build an initial bond with your pet.
Once this has been complete I will finalise the booking. During this time I am more than happy for you to contact me should you need anymore information or a chat about your pet, please let me know if anything changes with regards to your animals health or your home/routine before I provide care. I fill out a Pet monitor form each day to make sure each pet is eating, drinking, toileting and showing normal demeanour and behaviour. This helps monitor for any changes.

Who am I away from work? I love to travel. I have been fortunate to backpack around the world, both solo and with friends. One of my biggest travel highlights was backpacking across Japan for two months, it is an absolutely beautiful place.&nbsp;
I also enjoy going to antique and vintage fairs, finding new places for coffee and cake and reading. I love going to charity shops and being outside.&nbsp;
I currently don't have any of my own pets as I am still heartbroken over losing my cat and therefore it isn't the right time for me and my family. Over the years I have owner two lovely terriers, one border terrier and one parson Russell, two cats, two rabbits, three guinea pigs, three hamsters, three rats and plenty of fish.&nbsp;

I've been around dogs since I was a baby. As a child, I dreamt of becoming a vet, but it wasn't to be! Nevertheless, my passions for dogs remains to this day and I currently own a male Japanese Akita and a female Labrador. Over the years, I've had a Collie, a German Shepherd, and several Labradors.&nbsp;
It's not just medium and large dogs who I have experience with, though. My grandmother had a lovely poodle and a charismatic chihuahua. My girlfriend also has a fiesty and playful chihuahua, so I'm particular familiar with that small breed.
