*I am relocating to Portsmouth in May and will be restarting my dog walking business there, so cannot take on new regular London clients at this time*I have loved dogs all my life and grew up with various breeds including a Labrador, Border Collie, Grey Hound, Lurcher, Springer Spaniel and whippets. Since I started walking dogs in London 4 years ago I have looked after many, many other breeds though, from Bichon Frise to Bernese Mountain Dog and I think all breeds have their own lovely special qualities. I particularly love Staffies for instance and am very confident with any strength or size. Every dog has their own wants, habits and physical limitations so I tailor walks according to that particular dog's needs (be it a high-powered walk covering lots of ground, lots of ball play or a very slow meander close to home) therefore I don't offer pack walks. If there is more than one dog from the same household of course and they enjoy walking together then that is different and I am very happy to walk more than one in those situations.So if for whatever reason you are unable to take your furry best friend out as much as you would like to or need someone to dog sit while you are away or just at work please get in touch!Happy to provide references upon request.

I am 21 years old, doing a degree from home and pet-sitting on the side. I have always loved animals of all kinds from a young age. This has led to me dog-sitting, cat-sitting (and even lizard-sitting!) for family and friends for approximately 5 years. I have a golden labrador who is now 12 years old, so I also have experience of living with a dog. I have looked after a number of dogs and cats, ranging from pop-in visits and walks to staying at people's houses for extended periods to keep pets company and provide them care. Cats and dogs are the animals I have the most experience with, but provided I have the right information about the care of an animal I am open to any pet. I have looked after a bearded dragon for a few nights, but this is the most exotic pet I have cared for. I also have a pet giant african land snail (an archachatina marginata ovum called Norris). I completed a dog training extracurricular course at secondary school which has provided me with a more well-rounded understanding of the care and attention dogs require. Looking after animals is a passion of mine and animals are a really important part of my life, so interacting with them and caring for them as a profession is a dream come true! I can only pet-sit at your own home due to living in shared accommodation and having a dog of my own. I cannot pet-sit if you have guinea pigs due to a serious allergy. I have had pets my whole life including cats, Guinea pigs rabbits, and a dog. Recently my dog passed away leaving me with a bit of empty nest syndrome! I have been trusted since I was an early teen to walk neighbours dogs and do pop in visits. Now as an adult, I do a lot of house sitting and live in pet sitting that I’ve secured through word of mouth. I have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats - including large dogs and cats which require medication. As well as this, my dog was diabetic so I am comfortable and experienced  with administering jabs and other medications.

I currently work 33.75 hours a week from Monday to Friday. This means that four days a week I will be working 0800 - 1600 and on one day I will work 0800 - 1145. The shorter day is usually not designated until the week before however it is often flexible. I am usually around at weekends with the occasional social trip out however if I am pet sitting I will aim to adjust my availability around your pets needs.

I feel like I am a very loving and affectionate person and I love to give animals attention. I am very comfortable around all animals. I am a very active person so I am happy to go on long walks or multiple walks a day.

Hello, I'm a math teacher. I've always had a soft spot for animals; growing up, I had the pleasure of sharing my grandparent's home with a variety of furry friends. However, in 2017, my life took a turn when I came across two tiny kittens, barely two weeks old, abandoned by their mother. I couldn't leave them, so I took them home and became their mother. That meant not only feeding them but also tending to their use of the toilet, as they were too young to manage it on their own. Now, those two kittens are six years old, and I've learned a great deal about cats through this journey.

I've also had the privilege of looking after my cousin's dogs when they went on vacation. This involved maintaining a strict feeding schedule and keeping a close eye on their use of the toilet, as these indicators can often signal if something is amiss with a pet's health or behaviour.

I'm flexible with my services; I can make one or more visits throughout the day, or if preferred, I can stay overnight. When you're away, rest assured that your pets will be in safe hands, and you won't have to worry about a thing. 

I’ve always had a dog since I was a small child. Big ones, little ones, naughty ones, smart ones, pure breeds and mongrels! All were special to me in their own way and gave me much joy. After losing my most recent terrier to old age, I started to look after friends and neighbours dogs to fill the gap left by the lack of wet nose and paw prints and then decided to set up my own business ‘Woofmother’. And I have been busy ever since!
I have looked after a variety of dogs over the years, particularly nervous dogs, those with separation anxiety, behavioural issues and those who find difficulty with social interaction (whether with humans or other dogs). I have experience with senior dogs and those with health issues. I am pet first aid trained, fully insured and Enhanced DBS check certified.
I have also looked after people’s cats and small furries and I used to run a smallholding, so I’m adept at looking after most types of animals and have personally owned several dogs, a feral cat, ducks, chickens, sheep and pigs! I am an all round animal lover!
I offer pet-sitting services in your home, drop-ins and dog walking. For drop-ins, I can administer medication, feed, walk, play, empty litter trays or just provide company and cuddles. I can do day sits, evening sits or overnight sits. I can walk your dog for half an hour or an hour depending on their needs. This includes solo walking and walking in secure dog parks for particularly reactive dogs.

I'm Robin. I'm a 25 year old pet sitter located in Southsea, I have lived here for about 6 months. I love all types of animals. I grew up on a mini farm with animals including the usual cats and dogs, but also goats, chickens, ducks, llamas, horses, rabbits, hamsters, lizards, fish and one grumpy turtle. I have experience both with taking care of my own critters and pet sitting for others.
I haven't had pets of my own since moving from the US to the UK, so I have much animal love to give and few to give it too. I am, of course, quite happy to do all aspects of pet care needed, from cleaning litter boxes, to feeding, to cuddles and walks. I am comfortable with animals of all ages, from little excitable puppies or sneaky kittens vying for their first peek of the outdoors to old lumbering dogs and wizened cats. I am fully aware that different animals have different preferences when it comes to people and affection and can easily adapt to whatever they need, whether that be space or excited cuddles.
I also don't mind keeping up other household chores you need whilst you're away (picking up your post, taking out the bins, watering plants, etc.) And sending you updates and any adorable photos you need to prevent pet withdrawal.

I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in June). I have been doing dog walking/walks from when I was 11 and could go out and walk dogs :). I've walked dogs for friends and family as-well as people I've never met and even with aggressive/shy or anxious dogs I do really well to keep them calm and stay away from what triggers them. Dogs to me are like people like me and you and the energy you give off to a dog will effect the way they act or behave! I like to keep calm in situations where the dogs might not be the most comfortable E.g. meeting/seeing dogs or seeing other animals/vehicles or even people. No dog is a bad dog maybe unless they do a 1 or 2 on the carpet but overall all big dogs or small, fat or slim, anxious or confident I love all dogs :) I have had anxious dogs not be anxious and also dogs which react to certain things not because you have to keep calm and give them good energy:)
