Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Lee-on-the-Solent home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Lee-on-the-Solent.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Lee-on-the-Solent home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been raising dogs since I was 14—now 25 and still completely obsessed with all things furry (and feathery!). Back home in Myanmar, I had a Golden Retriever, Husky, and Poodle, and I miss them every day.
I’ve also cared for cats, birds, hamsters—even a rabbit or two! Being around animals makes me feel at home, and I’d love to turn that passion into something meaningful while I’m here. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or just being their new best friend, your pets are in loving hands with me!
With me, your pet gets more than just a walk—they get a buddy! I offer fun, safe dog walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and care A typical day includes tail wags, fetch marathons, sniff-and-stroll adventures, and lots of belly rubs.I treat every pet like my own whether we’re chasing a ball or just chilling together. Basically, I show up, your pet lights up. Let’s be furry friends!

Hi
i I am a retired social worker and have a beautiful tiny shitzu Harvey who is my world and has been for 4 years
ive always had pets as a child and love animals so much
I am now in a position to sit with your precious dog ( Harvey will join us as long as you are happy for this of course ) for a day or to enable you to have a holiday . I would always want you to share everything about your precious baby so that I can ensure I'm giving them the best time with me .
I always have Harvey vaccinated and he has regular checks with the vet and is really healthy i would need your dog to have been vaccinated wormed etc please
I can provide any references recommendations you may need but am reliable extremely caring and would want the best for your beloved pet as I do mine

I’ve always had a special connection with cats—their unique personalities, quiet companionship, and independent yet affectionate nature truly resonate with me. Growing up in a household with multiple cats, I learned early on how to care for them, understand their body language, and respect their space. Whether it's feeding, grooming, playing, or simply providing a calm presence, I enjoy every aspect of being around cats.
My motivation to be a cat sitter comes from both my love for felines and my desire to help cat owners feel at ease when they're away. I know how sensitive cats can be to changes in their environment or routine, and I take pride in offering gentle, reliable, and attentive care that keeps them feeling safe and comfortable in their own home. Every cat is different, and I take the time to get to know each one individually—because they deserve nothing less than thoughtful, loving care.
