I'm happy to go to your house for dog sitting &amp; dog walking but I don't drive so it would need to be fairly close to hitchin. I'm available Monday-Friday in the late afternoon/ evenings and mostly free on weekends during the day, I could offer more services in the future like house/dog sitting!&nbsp;

I work at a luxury cat hotel caring for the needs of various breeds of cats while their owners are away.  I have gained experience with all kinds of breeds and tempremant of cat including maine coons, cornish rexes, sphynx , moggies and many more!! To work with animals has always been a huge goalof mine, thinking of becoming a vet was a first on my list but, I cannot dealwith blood or anything to do with the anatomy so that wasn't an option (pleasenote, if your pet is in a medical emergency, blood is the last thing on mymind. My dog walks typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs and energy level, and my drop-in visits are usually 20–40 minutes, giving plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and a wellbeing check.

I’m confident handling pets with different behaviour styles — whether that means going slow with nervous or rescue animals or providing extra stimulation for high-energy breeds. I’m comfortable with basic grooming (brushing, wiping paws, cleaning eyes) and can administer simple medications such as tablets or topical treatments following your instructions.

One of my favourite experiences was with a nervous rescue cat who hid under the bed during our first meeting. With time, patience, and gentle interaction, she eventually greeted me at the door, rolled onto her back, and followed me around for treats. We unintentionally fell into the wonderfully rewarding world of pet-sitting, after selling all our possessions to become digital nomads in June 2022.
We set off for what has been one of the best adventures of our lives, spending time in Thailand, Vietnam, Mauritius, Malaysia &amp; the Canary Islands.
Last year we joined a housesit site and have fallen in love with so many cats that we are now completely hooked.
Gina is a retired teacher, author of 3 poetry and 1 short story book and a Happiness Coach.

Hi my name is Chester. I've worked with horses professionally for the last 6 years but have owned dogs my entire life. I have first hand experience with large breeds such as staffies, huskies, great danes and Belgium malinois. And am currently working on rehabilitating a very nervous Romanian street dog! So, I'm very used to handling animals of all sizes, even the ones that are a little naughty.
Working on horse yards has made me a very detail orientated and caring person. The welfare of my animals will always stay top priority. And with yards comes dogs and cats, so I have often looked after the owners pets while they were away as well as watching the house.
