Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Meols home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Meols.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Meols home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! My name is Rudi, and I'm currently living in Liverpool while studying to become a vet.
My life has always revolved around animals, and I have a sincere love for pet sitting. I am aware of how crucial it is for pets to feel secure, at ease, and well-cared for while their owners are away.
Since I was young, I have had a lot of experience with animals. I have owned pets of my own and have frequently provided pet care for family members, taking care of dogs, cats, and small animals with a range of needs, routines, and temperaments. I also worked as a vet nurse for a year in a clinic before starting uni, which gave me invaluable practical experience in animal handling, health monitoring, hygiene, and client communication.
I want to give owners confidence and peace of mind that their pets are in safe, knowledgeable hands.
Being at uni, I don't really have many opportunities to be around pets day to day (on the non vet side of things!), so pet sitting allows me to spend time with animals while providing them with attentive, high-quality care.

Introduction of myself ‍🦺I'm a 37 year old dog lover and after losing my girl Jasmine of 17 yrs old in October 2025, she was a border collie and had her from a rescue dog of 10 months old. Taught her every trick in the book too and she use to run 5ks and 10ks with me 🪽🤍I miss having a dog to take for a walk & giving a dog lots of love and cuddles. As it isn't good time for me to have another dog myself full-time, would love to give your dogs the walks they need and any overnight stays when needed, providing I'm available myself. I love taking my friends dogs now and again for walks when they are busy, so have had experience with many dog breeds over the years, from a Dutch shepherd, border collie to a smaller terrier breed and spaniel breed dogs. Really enjoy a moel famau walk when the weather is suitable and going on walks around Delamere too. I use to always walk around Flint Estuary by the castle with my border collie as its only down the road from my home. Will be doing the dog walking mainly based in Flint and some surrounding areas within 10 miles radius. Home sitting I can go further of 20 miles from my home for dog sitting at your home. I have high standards when it comes to making sure a dog has its daily routine and walks and just cuddes. With also making sure they are well cared for and sending the owner photos of them being happy and looked after unless they would prefer not to. Friday's are the only day unavailable for dog walking, but I can overnight stays on Fridays with plenty of notice.

Being a dog owner for my whole life I have a love and passion for dogs. I love walking and would love a companion to join me whilst helping someone out who may not be able to do that before going off to university in September. I have just finished my A levels so I am free all day. Every day. I will treat your dog like my own. I have a crazy cocker spaniel at home and grew up with collies and labs so have had my fair share of experience and would consider myself trustworthy around your dog.
When I am in University, I am a volunteer dog walker for people who cannot walk their dogs because of medical issues or age.
As for walking I am happy to take your dog for as short or as long of a walk as you please as I say I am free most days all day and will work my life around your needed dog walks
