Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Nailsea home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Nailsea.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Nailsea home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! I’m Cherine, and I’ve been caring for animals of all shapes and sizes for most of my life . From dogs and cats to rabbits and horses, I’ve always had a special bond with animals and a real passion for their wellbeing ️. I’m DBS checked , fully insured ️, and committed to providing reliable, safe, and loving care for your pets.
I run an eco-conscious pet sitting service in Nailsea and Backwell . I travel by e-bike wherever possible, combining sustainable travel with hands-on, personalised visits. I offer dog visits (including short walks ‍🦺), cat visits , small animal care , medication administration , and photo & video updates so you can see your pets happy and cared for while you’re away. On request, I also provide horse care , exercise, and horsemanship training.
I take pride in providing tailored care for each pet, respecting their routines and personalities . I only accept vaccinated pets 🩺 to ensure safety for everyone, and I always work to create a calm, friendly, and trustworthy environment . My motivation is simple: I love helping pets feel safe, happy, and cared for, and I love giving their owners peace of mind .

Hi! We are Albert and Cami, a couple who travels full-time while caring for pets and homes across Europe.
Caring for animals is not just something we do, it is the lifestyle we have chosen. We have over 15 years of experience looking after pets, and during the last two years we have specialised in full-time pet and house sitting, creating a safe, loving and reliable environment for every animal we care for.
We have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience, gentle walks and special care. We have also cared for cats, including rescue cats, and other animals such as horses, chickens, tortoises and small pets.
Our services include dog walking, home visits and house sitting in the owner's home. We always follow each pet's routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medication (when needed), grooming and plenty of affection.
We understand that every pet is unique. Some need lots of attention and play, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable. We always respect their personality and build trust at their own pace.
Communication is very important to us, so we love sharing updates, photos and videos with owners so they can feel relaxed knowing their pets are happy and cared for.
We do not offer care in our own home because we specialise in caring for pets in their familiar environment, where they usually feel safest and most comfortable.
We would love the opportunity to meet your furry family member and provide them with the care, love and attention they deserve.

A genuine animal lover who treats every pet like their own — providing loving, attentive & reliable care you can feel confident in.
I absolutely love animals! I have two cats of my own, two more cats at my parents’ house, and a dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life.
I’d be more than happy to look after your pets and treat them with the same love, patience and care as I do my own. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and I’ll always make sure they are safe, happy and well looked after.

Most importantly, I will treat your pets with the same care and love as my own. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos during my visits, so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands.
I’d love to meet you and your furry friends!

Hello! I’m a passionate pet lover with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats. Growing up surrounded by animals, I developed a deep connection with them, learning how to keep them happy and healthy. At 18, I started walking my neighbor’s dog, transforming her into a more energetic, healthier pup through regular walks and care. That experience inspired me to pursue pet care full-time. Now, I’m thrilled to offer dog walking and pet sitting services at your home, tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I’m active, happy, trustworthy, and dedicated to making every moment special—whether it’s long walks, playful fetch, or cozy cat cuddles. I’m pursuing a pet care certification to enhance my skills and provide top-notch service. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, ensuring peace of mind. Let me bring joy and comfort to your pet’s day!

I am a forth-year veterinary student at Bristol Veterinary School with a strong interest in small animal medicine, and I genuinely enjoy caring for both cats and dogs. During term time, I am based in Bristol, and during university holiday periods I am based in London, allowing me to offer pet sitting services in both locations at different times of the year.I have extensive hands-on experience with companion animals through both my studies and previous work. This includes placements involving dogs and cats, as well as two weeks of intensive cattery experience, where I gained confidence caring for multiple cats, including pregnant queens and those requiring extra monitoring. I also some basic dog training experience from Hong Kong, which helps me confidently handle dogs and reinforce good behaviour during walks and daily care. Before entering veterinary school, I worked in kennels and pet salons, gaining experience with animals of different temperaments and needs. During my EMS placements, I have worked in veterinary clinics and will continue to gain further clinical experience. Please see the following as my details and my services AvailabilityWhen am I usually available (morning / afternoon / evening)?I am generally available on my days off and during university holiday periods. My love for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my teenage years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for a whole menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even chickens!I have a calm, loving, and confident presence, shaped by many years of working with children and people with disabilities. Animals—especially cats and dogs—seem to sense this and quickly feel safe, relaxed, and at ease around me.I’ve cared for animals of all ages, including those who were ill, anxious, or had experienced trauma, and I’ve always found these experiences deeply rewarding, gentle, and even joyful. With a nursing degree, I’m comfortable administering medication, providing basic wound care (following veterinary guidance), and preparing food for pets with special dietary needs.I also bring over 20 years of experience supporting vulnerable people, often in their own homes, so I naturally treat other people’s spaces with great care and respect. For the past 15 years, I’ve also been caring for animals in a semi-professional, word-of-mouth capacity.I also enjoy sharing lovely daily photo and video updates on request, so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away.
Every pet is unique, so everything I offer is shaped around their individual needs and daily routine. Plenty of TLC, walks, playtime, chill-out moments, and calm, reassuring time are always on the menu I always take the time to get to know my new animal friend — their likes and dislikes, diet, habits, and what helps them feel happy and safe. Our time together is 100% tailored to them. For some pets, that might mean lots of playful, active connection; for others, it’s all about a quiet, loving presence and gentle care. And often, it’s a mix of everything in between. This is my first time on Pawshake and I’m really looking forward to meeting you—and your furry (and feathered!) family
