I studied Animal Care for one year, where I learned how to properly feed and care for a wide range of animals, including rabbits, rodents (such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, and hamsters), ferrets, birds, chickens, fish, lizards, and other small animals. During my studies, I also gained knowledge in animal behavior, hygiene management, and basic health monitoring to ensure pets stay safe and comfortable.

I also had a lovely little dog who lived with me for 12 years, so I understand daily care, walking routines, grooming needs, and the love and patience dogs require. I did volunteer in some animal shelters throughout the years. Worked at doggy day care. Fostered 2 pregnant cats and raised the kittens until ready for their new homes. I’ve learned reward training for puppies and I am very interested in animal behaviour - I have a soft spot for rescues and nervous animals. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wand toys, gentle cuddle sessions, and creating cozy spaces where they feel safe and happy.
I like to add enrichment activities like hide-and-seek with treats, scent games, or gentle socialization for nervous pets. My goal is always to keep pets happy, engaged, and loved while making sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care.
It’s really helpful to know about your pet’s personality, habits, and any special needs before I care for them. For dogs, this includes any anxieties, health issues, or fears, as well as how they behave on walks, around other dogs, or with people. For cats, it’s useful to know their routines, favourite spots, and any quirks or sensitivities.


As a dog owner of 2 chihuahuas (one is 10 and the other is 20) I value the importance of how hard it is to find people that click with them and that it's not a rushed process....like people we all have our levels of being socially comfortable around others so i like to let amimals go at their own pace to become buddies with me.&nbsp;
I've grown up and looked after lots of creatures from Lizards, rats, Chinchillas, scorpians and toads...i was proudly the guinea pig catcher at junior school too 
I love all sizes and breeds of dogs but I feel my strength is with smaller dogs and understand the importance of keeping a close eye on them when taking them for walks out and about...the world is a big place for them!

I love taking pictures and giving updates when pet sitting cats and dogs for friends in the past. I enjoy a cuddle with a moggy too and have alot of good energy to share. I'm also a light sleeper so if you needed a house sitter my ears are as keen as a chihuahuas.

Speaking from experience having the reassurance in a pet sitter is something that you never realise you need until it's time to take a trip or spend a long day at work.
