Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Peasedown Saint John home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Peasedown Saint John.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Peasedown Saint John home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

About me:Growing up in my family home, I was surrounded by cats, dogs, hamsters, fish and birds and as such, pets and animals are a fundamental part of my life. My extensive experience means I can complete all basic care including feeding, walking, bathing, light grooming, administering medication, and of course, affection. As a well-rounded animal lover, I appreciate standard household pets, woodland and farm animals. Further to my personal experience, professionally, I have cared for cats, dogs, a rabbit, guinea pig and a gecko. Having worked with a variety of pets, including rescues, I am familiar with them having their individual personalities and dispositions. I am patient and prefer to be lead by the animal to establish safety and trust. I am thorough and will work to your pets needs.Besides caring for animals, my employment history ranges from administration to support work. As such, I am very organised, reliable and can work to care plans and risk assess. I have a Clear DBS check on the updating service. I am currently without a car. Please feel free to ask any questions. Current services I offer:Walking (the rate is for 30 minutes, but I am happy to offer longer walks - please message me to discuss this)Home visitations to your pets - up to two visits a day (at your home)Day care from your home; NB: there is not a booking option for this. Please select Housesitting, tell me you want Day Care and I can amend the booking. House/pet sitting (overnight at your home)With house visits or Housitting I am happy to water plants and take in post. The booking system is a little rigid; If you are looking for a combined or flexible service feel free to message me and we can discuss this. Services are offered on a pet-by-pet basis and a meet-and-greet beforehand if applicable.

I’m a friendly, responsible animal lover based in Bath, and I really enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and routine. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’m attentive to owners’ instructions and aim to keep everything as familiar and consistent as possible while they’re in my care.
I offer dog walking, drop-in visits and pet sitting. Dog walks can be 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, energy levels and usual routine. I’m lucky to live just a two-minute walk from Kensington Meadows, which has plenty of open green space and a riverside walking path, making it perfect for both shorter walks and longer adventures. For dogs that enjoy a longer walk, there are also routes continuing towards Bathampton Meadows, with open countryside and paths alongside the River Avon.
Drop-in visits are around 30 minutes and can include feeding, refreshing water, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles and keeping to any routines you normally have at home. I’m happy to care for both dogs and cats, including younger and older pets, and will always discuss their temperament, needs and routine before accepting a booking.
For pet sitting and overnight stays, I’ll stay in your pet’s own home so they can remain somewhere familiar. I take home security seriously: doors and windows will always be secured, keys kept safely, no visitors will be brought into your home, and I’ll leave everything as I found it. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates while you’re away.
I don’t take multiple households’ dogs out together, so walks are focused on your pet and their individual needs, and dogs will never be left unattended while in my care. I’m generally flexible around work, particularly evenings and weekends, and I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can get comfortable with me first.

I have grown up with pets my whole live my, I currently have 3 cats (Yuki, Lynx and Luffy), I love them so much, and have had dogs in the past.
I have petsat neighbour's cats multiple times. I'm available to pet sit all kinds of cats!
A bit more about myself, I am a university student, and I'm always the designated petsitter when my friends go on holidays! I love reading, listening to music, going on walks and I absolutely love playing with my cats! I'm looking for something fun but worthwhile to and this would be a great and rewarding option!
I'm available weekends bank holidays, and if staying overnight, I would be giving your pets the full attention :) I will play with them, feed them, clean up their litter and can even water plants if needed. I can handle anxious cats by giving them space. In case of emergency I would contact you. I would also keep you updated with photos!
Please feel free to ask me any other questions!
Thank you :)

I am DBS checked certificate can be seen in photo gallery.
I offer drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, cuddles (if your pet enjoys them!), and regular photo and video updates so you can see how they’re getting on while you’re away. Visits can be tailored to your pet’s routine, whether that be a 30 minute visit or 1 hour they need a quick check-in or a longer visit with plenty of company and enrichment.
I mainly care for cats and have experience with indoor cats, senior cats, and those that require daily medication. I also have good experience with kittens. I understand that every cat has their own personality, so I’ll always take the time to earn their trust and care for them in the way they’re most comfortable with. I’m also happy to look after small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters.
As a full-time postman, I’m available every morning before work and every evening from 4:00 pm onwards, as well as weekends. This makes me ideal for pets who need reliable morning and evening care while you’re away.
I care for pets in their own home, where they can stay relaxed in familiar surroundings and keep to their normal routine. I’ll treat your home with the same respect and care as I do my own, ensuring everything is secure, clean, and exactly as you left it. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and receiving the love and attention they deserve.

Hi, I’m Nosh, a passionate pet lover with more than 5 years of experience caring for animals. Back home, I have 11 cats and 3 dogs, so looking after pets isn’t just something I do—it’s a big part of my everyday life.
I understand how important it is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply giving them companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own.
I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. You can count on me to provide not only the basic care your pets need, but also the affection and attention they deserve.
If you’re looking for someone who truly loves animals and will make sure your furry friends are happy and comfortable, I’d love to help. ️

Hello everyone!
My name is Raul, and I recently joined this platform to help pet owners by providing reliable, caring, and attentive pet care. As someone who genuinely loves animals, I see this as a wonderful opportunity to support owners while spending time with pets and earning some extra income during a challenging period.
Although I am relatively new to professional pet sitting, I have extensive personal experience caring for animals. Over the years, I have owned and looked after a dog, a cat, five guinea pigs, and a hamster. More recently, I have also provided pet-sitting services for several cats and a dog.
When caring for pets, my priority is always their happiness, safety, and well-being. Before any booking, I like to discuss important details with owners, including feeding schedules, walking routines, behavioural habits, medical needs, and any specific instructions. This helps me provide consistent care and maintain the routines that pets are already comfortable with.
For dog walks, I typically offer walks of at least 30 minutes, adjusted to the dog's age, energy level, and owner's preferences. During walks, I focus on keeping dogs active, engaged, and safe while reinforcing any training or behavioural guidance provided by their owners.
During home visits, I ensure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, fresh water, feeding, and companionship. I understand that many animals can feel anxious when their owners are away, so I aim to create a calm, reassuring environment and build trust with them.
To ensure every pet receives the attention they deserve, I prefer to care for a limited number of pets at a time. This allows me to focus on their individual needs and provide quality care rather than splitting my attention between too many animals.
My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dedicated supervision and regular updates to owners when requested. If I am providing daycare or extended care, I always discuss expected supervision times with owners in advance and aim to minimise the amount of time pets are left alone.
I am also happy to reinforce basic training and good habits that owners are already working on, such as lead manners, basic commands, routine consistency, and calm behaviour around people and other animals. While I am not a professional trainer, I am patient, consistent, and committed to following the guidance provided by owners.
If an emergency situation ever arises, I will immediately contact the owner, follow any emergency instructions provided, and seek appropriate veterinary assistance if necessary.
People often tell me that animals naturally connect with me, and I truly enjoy building positive relationships with every pet I meet. My goal is not only to care for your pet but also to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you are away.
The best way to find out if I am the right fit for your pet is to have a chat. If you think I could help, I would be delighted to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your wonderful pets soon!

Hi! We are Albert and Cami, a couple who travels full-time while caring for pets and homes across Europe.
Caring for animals is not just something we do, it is the lifestyle we have chosen. We have over 15 years of experience looking after pets, and during the last two years we have specialised in full-time pet and house sitting, creating a safe, loving and reliable environment for every animal we care for.
We have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience, gentle walks and special care. We have also cared for cats, including rescue cats, and other animals such as horses, chickens, tortoises and small pets.
Our services include dog walking, home visits and house sitting in the owner's home. We always follow each pet's routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, medication (when needed), grooming and plenty of affection.
We understand that every pet is unique. Some need lots of attention and play, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable. We always respect their personality and build trust at their own pace.
Communication is very important to us, so we love sharing updates, photos and videos with owners so they can feel relaxed knowing their pets are happy and cared for.
We do not offer care in our own home because we specialise in caring for pets in their familiar environment, where they usually feel safest and most comfortable.
We would love the opportunity to meet your furry family member and provide them with the care, love and attention they deserve.

My name is Marisa, I am a 20-year-old university student based in Bath, looking for summer and holiday dog walking and pet sitting opportunities. I offer dog walking (typically 30–45 minutes, but this can be adjusted to suit your dog’s needs), as well as home check-ins and overnight pet sitting for dogs who need company and care while you’re away.
I have grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have a 4-year-old terrier, so I’m very comfortable caring for energetic and playful dogs who need patience, structure, and trust. I understand how important routine is, and I always aim to make dogs feel safe, settled, and happy in my care. I enjoy long walks along the canal, park visits, and hikes, and I always tailor walks to each dog’s energy level and personality.
A typical visit would include feeding if needed, fresh water, a walk or playtime, toilet breaks, and plenty of attention and reassurance. I always follow owner instructions closely and ensure dogs are safely leashed, supervised at all times, and kept in secure environments. I’m also happy to send updates and photos for peace of mind.
Alongside this, I work part-time in hospitality as a bartender and waitress, so I am very reliable, organised, and used to working in busy, fast-paced environments. I’m looking for flexible summer work that allows me to spend time outdoors doing something I genuinely enjoy.

My love for animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since my teenage years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for a whole menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, and even chickens!I have a calm, loving, and confident presence, shaped by many years of working with children and people with disabilities. Animals—especially cats and dogs—seem to sense this and quickly feel safe, relaxed, and at ease around me.I’ve cared for animals of all ages, including those who were ill, anxious, or had experienced trauma, and I’ve always found these experiences deeply rewarding, gentle, and even joyful. With a nursing degree, I’m comfortable administering medication, providing basic wound care (following veterinary guidance), and preparing food for pets with special dietary needs.I also bring over 20 years of experience supporting vulnerable people, often in their own homes, so I naturally treat other people’s spaces with great care and respect. For the past 15 years, I’ve also been caring for animals in a semi-professional, word-of-mouth capacity.I also enjoy sharing lovely daily photo and video updates on request, so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away.
Every pet is unique, so everything I offer is shaped around their individual needs and daily routine. Plenty of TLC, walks, playtime, chill-out moments, and calm, reassuring time are always on the menu I always take the time to get to know my new animal friend — their likes and dislikes, diet, habits, and what helps them feel happy and safe. Our time together is 100% tailored to them. For some pets, that might mean lots of playful, active connection; for others, it’s all about a quiet, loving presence and gentle care. And often, it’s a mix of everything in between. This is my first time on Pawshake and I’m really looking forward to meeting you—and your furry (and feathered!) family
