Hey there! I’m Navpreet, an 18 year old student, and I’m here to offer your pet a calm, loving, and safe space while you’re away. I believe that pets thrive in quiet, cozy environments—so I provide gentle care, with a focus on allowing your pet to feel at ease in their own time. I’m an Akita Inu enthusiast with plenty of experience caring for family pets, and I’ve created a space where animals can just be—whether that’s lounging together, getting a head pat, or simply enjoying each other’s presence. 
I offer:

Flexible, reliable pet sitting (including overnight stays!)
Personalised, gentle care tailored to your pet’s needs (no loud noises or sudden movements)
Walks for smaller dogs (especially ones that don’t have dander!)
Playtime, cuddles, and chill vibes—I’m all about keeping things cozy and relaxed

I can only offer petsitting for cats and low-dander dogs as I'm allergic to dog dander. But I grew up with a Japanese Akita (who is featured A LOT on my profile) who's hypoallergenic 


Hey! I'm coming up to 20 years old and know I want my career to be centered around dogs.&nbsp;
I have gained valuable experience through volunteering at my local doggy day care, as well as through working as a teaching assistant for SEN pupils.&nbsp;
I would describe myself as an empath, so I will always put your dog's needs first.&nbsp;
In home visits, I will interact with your dog as much as possible (playing with toys, cuddling) and just give them lots of attention.&nbsp;
During walks I'm happy to bring a ball if your dog enjoys that, bring treats to practise some simple training and I'm happy to travel to your area to walk them in a familiar place!&nbsp;
With sleepovers you can tell me your dogs routine and I will follow that, as well as give them lots of extra love and attention during. I have a drive to make every dog feel loved and cared for, as well as building my career so I can spend it doing what I love and making all dogs happy  
I also have an up-to-date DBS, and a little Jack Russell of my own!


I have been using pet sitters for a while now, and know how stressful it can be leaving your animals - I personally have 4 indoor cats (two Maine coons, a Chausie and a Ragdoll).and they are my best friends, so having reliable people I can trust who understand what they mean to me, to take care of them when I'm away is super important to me.&nbsp;
I studied animal husbandry and have experience with a wide range of animals including reptiles, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents (I used to have show winning rats!) birds, and farm animals. I also used to take animals to schools for workshops and teach children about them. Throughout this, the welfare of the animals has been paramount.&nbsp;

**PLEASE NOTE SERVING CANTON/PONTCANNA AREA ONLY. Several years experience of working with animals. Have dog sat twice through this website, and have house sat several times previous to this. Lots of experience walking dogs and have owned dogs growing up too. I love looking after other peoples animals as I do not currently own any of my own. I cannot offer dog boarding at my house as a service. However I can house sit. Owned a border collie growing up and a French bulldog as an adult. Have also helped friends look after pets. Can work with animals of all different breeds and of all different sizes. Dogs and cats are where I have most of my experience. My motivation for joining pawshake is partly due to the fact that I love animals and partly as I've just moved back to Cardiff and am in between work at the moment and am living at home with my mum.
