Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Polesworth home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Polesworth.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Polesworth home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi. I am Jagadesh from india. You can call me jake. I have been volenteering with blue cross of india for more than 2 years way back home. I have a pet at my home back in india. When i moved here, i was missing my pet. I came across this platform to connect with fellow pet parents who are busy with their day to day life. I am here to look after and take care of your pets during your absence. You can be rest assured about your pets. I have quite an experience handling dogs, cats, calfes, deers, squirrels etc. At present i am doing only pet sitting and pet walks but soon planning to take pets in for boarding. My bond with pets starts when i was a baby. I still remember my first pet richard, who once saved me from a cobra. I owe you my life richard. Happy to take care for your pets.

I’m an experienced dog owner and carer, and my own German Shepherd, Toby, is a certified Pets As Therapy dog. Toby's calm, gentle nature reflects the patient, responsible, and reassuring approach that I bring to animal care. I’m very comfortable following detailed instructions, maintaining established routines, and adapting to each pet’s individual personality, whether that’s an energetic dog who enjoys long walks and play, or a more relaxed or nervous pet who benefits from a quieter, gentler approach.
During house sits, I prioritise consistency and reassurance, keeping to familiar feeding, walking, and sleeping routines so pets feel secure in their own home. I take time to understand each animal’s preferences, behaviours, and any specific needs, including medication, dietary requirements, or sensitivities. I also ensure regular communication with owners, providing updates and photos for peace of mind.
A typical day is tailored to each pet's normal routine. Dogs can expect morning and afternoon walks, with the length and pace adjusted to their age, health, and energy levels. Between walks, there is plenty of companionship, playtime, garden breaks, and quiet time for rest. For dogs that enjoy games, I am happy to play ball, use favourite toys, or simply provide company and affection. When appropriate and with the owner's agreement, Toby may accompany us on walks, as he is very friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and owners can expect regular updates and photos throughout the sit.
Alongside pet care, I have many years of experience managing rental and holiday properties, including overseeing maintenance, security, and day-to-day responsibilities. I treat every home with great care and respect, keeping it clean, secure, and well looked after.
House sitting suits my lifestyle well. I work largely from home as a children's author, which allows me to be present throughout the day and give pets consistent companionship. I enjoy quiet, settled environments, long walks, and time in nature, making dog care especially rewarding.
Having cared for both single- and multiple-pet households, I understand the importance of ensuring each pet receives individual attention while maintaining harmony within the home. Care is always adapted to the needs of the animals and the preferences of their owners.
I take trust very seriously. I’m DBS checked through my work with schools and can also provide a letter-headed solicitor’s reference from a Principal who has known me professionally since 2009. My aim is always to ensure pets are happy and relaxed, and that owners feel completely confident while they’re away.

Hi I'm Jen and I would love to help care for your babies when you just want some time to yourselves. I love cats (especially the snuggly one's) and I do refer to myself as Auntie Jen to all my friends animals.
I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your babies will be looked after when you want to go on holiday or even those times when something unexpected happens.
I used to have 2 babies of my own called Tic & Tac. They were very well cared for but unfortunately my work changed and I had to rehome them. This took me 9 months! I had to make sure that they were being adopted by someone who was going to love them like me. It was genuinely the hardest decision I've ever had to make. But it was to ensure that they got more time and snuggles.
I am happy to offer short visits to over night stays. I will take care of your babies like they are my own and they will have nothing but love from me.
I am willing to travel a short while too. If you feel I may be too far away from you and want overnight stays, please drop me a message and I can let you know if you're too far way or not.
I am only wanting to look after cats.
