Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Italy, I was surrounded by dogs, including two German Shepherds and later a rescue dog who became a beloved member of our family for 17 wonderful years. Those experiences taught me just how much love, loyalty, and companionship dogs bring into our lives.
After moving to the UK over 12 years ago, my passion for dogs never faded. What started as helping friends with dog sitting and walking eventually led me to create my own pet care business. Today, I provide doggy daycare, boarding, walks, and home visits, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities.
A few years ago, I also rescued a dog from a shelter in Italy, which reinforced my belief that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and individual care.
When your dog stays with me, they become part of the family. Whether they love long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I tailor my care to their needs. My aim is always to provide a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where your dog feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away, giving you complete peace of mind.

Hello! My name is Caio. I’m 33 years old, and I moved to Hertford two months ago. I have a degree in Veterinary Medicine in Brazil, and with extensive experience in caring for small animals.

Animals have always played such a huge part in my life. From having pets as a child to asking my mother for horse riding lessons and getting them for my birthday at nine years old, I have always loved animals. I now have 4 cats and a horse of my own so well know the commitment they take. And that our pets are part of the family and so you only want them to have the best care whilst you are away from home.. Aside from being a pet owner i'm also an experienced pet carer. A few years ago I had a career break and went travelling during which I worked as an animal rescue volunteer and animal fosterer in Asia. I undertsined tasks such as assisting in the veterinary clinic, leading a sterilisation project for stray animals and educating locals how to care for their pets. Animal welfare is a passion and I will look after your animals as if they were my own. *Please note that this site does not enable me to list all of my fees so there may be extra incurred. I also offer plant care and watering and bin disposal. More than one pet is extra (£5 for cats and £7 for dogs) and not included in the one visit - and bank and national holidays incurrur an extra charge.&nbsp;
In order to cater for the busy holiday periods I work alongside my brothers, who are as equally as animal mad as me!

I work from home full-time, your furry friend won’t just be 'staying' here. They'll be my co-worker for the day! We live in a cozy, dog-friendly environment right near some fantastic local parks for walks.

I’ve been around dogs for over 6 years now, so I’ve really learned how to speak their language and make them feel at home the moment they walk through the door. I’ve seen it all, and I’m pretty good at picking up on what each dog needs to feel settled and happy.

They’ll also have a built-in best friend here! My own dog, Coffee, is very friendly and loves making new friends. I’m more than happy to adapt to your pup’s specific routine and personality to ensure they are happy and comfortable.

I have a lot of experience with dogs of all breeds, When I was younger I had my own dog, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Charlie. She was with from a puppy until she was 15, I absolutely adored her. I now, often dog sit for friends when they are away and every week, I take my sister’s dog (a Jack Russell) for a walk to the local park. Therefore, I know what is like to look after animals of all ages. &nbsp;
I love caring, playing, comforting and off course cuddles with dogs. I know how important it is for them to get their exercise on their daily walks. Seeing their excitement about going on their dog walks always makes me smile. &nbsp;
All dogs have their own characters and needs, and I think its important I understand what these are so I can fully care for your dog. We can organise a video call or meet to discuss your dog’s needs prior to the service to discuss any special needs your pet has e.g. are they ok interacting with other animals or children, their likes, dislikes etc. &nbsp;

As a pet owner trusting someone to take care of your pet is important, but also having someone understand how important they are to your family dynamic is equally as important. Growing up in a family that always has pets, being around and taking care of them is second nature to me. I'm 38, married and a dad of two lovely boys (7 and 3) and a Cat called Piper (2 years old). I'm currently flexible Monday - Friday in the evenings after work and at weekends. I'm Available for stay overs, house sitting, walks only, sit- ins and general pet company as needed. I'm Not currently available for overnight pet boarding but happy to care for your pet at my home during the day as I also work from home frequently. I live in the countryside with my dog, Sherlock, who is a rescue cross breed from Cyprus. Sherlock is very laid back and a very friendly and gentle dog. He gets on with all dogs and people and is happy to share his home with other dogs. I have loads of experience with dogs of my own in the past - retrievers, labs, collies and spaniels. I love having dogs around and have had dogs all my life, and often helped friends and family with boarding as well. I work from home full time every week so dogs are never left alone and my availability is generally very good. 
I am happy to provide day care or overnight boarding. I can provide whatever walking your pet needs up to 2 hours per day on or off lead, and they will sleep with my dog having the run of the house downstairs. I only accept one dog at a time so they will be well cared for. I have a 6ft high fenced in back garden and access to miles of great walking in the countryside and a very nearby secure dog field if your pet needs off lead exercise but is not good with recall. Im happy to administer meds (oral only) as required. 
I ensure owners are kept up to date with how their dog is enjoying life with us, and have a very flexible approach to make sure the whole process is as easy for you as I can make it. Your dog will have a great time and we will tailor the stay to suit your dog perfectly.
