Hi! I'm Jay and I've been looking after animals my whole life. Growing up, I've always been surrounded by all sorts of animals whether they be rats, birds, cats, dogs or chickens. This early exposure has instilled a deep love and respect for all animals no matter their size. I always enjoy spending time playing with them, looking after them and even simply being around them. My motivation that led me to pet sitting comes from this same love for animals as I am always excited and enthusiastic to meet a new pet.
I have been pet sitting on and off for friends and family over the past few years, and have my own experience of looking after my cat for the past 4 years as well as previous animals such as my 2 rats I had when I was younger. I'm familiar with feeding pets, walking small/medium sized dogs and spending time with both young and elderly animals.
I do require pets to be up to date with all vaccines as this keeps a healthy environment for all. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 10, and over the years, I’ve built strong bonds with pets of all kinds. From puppies to adult dogs and even senior care, I've had the pleasure of looking after a wide variety of breeds. I raised my own Jack Russell Cross, Bella Boo, from puppyhood to 11 years old and cared for my sisters' dogs (Staffie, Rottweiler, Pugs, Chihuahua, Samoyed, and Chihuahua cross). 
I've also cared for my neighbour’s 10 cats, socialising and looking after them regularly. My experience also includes house-sitting for a cat for two weeks, ensuring they were well taken care of in their own space. With a 6+ year experience in rescues (Dogs Trust) and daycare settings, I offer walking, sitting and training services in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham-by-Sea and Portslade. From dog walking (solo walks, 1 hour long, country walks included), drop in visits up to 2 hours at any time of the day including evenings, daytime sitting (timing is flexible) and overnight staying at your house. I am available most days of the week, days and times of services will need discussing according to your needs and my availability. During my stay with your pet I will make sure they receive the best care, cuddles and entertainment with games and training when applicable.&nbsp;I am first aid trained and I am qualifying as a canine behaviour specialist so I can offer advice on training and management of dogs with special needs.
