I have become lucky enough to have more time on my hands to be able to care for your furbabies due to being a mature student. I do work in the mornings but I am available after lunchtime for the rest of the day and night to give your pets the love and fuss they need whilst you're away - whether it's cuddles, walks or just someone being there.&nbsp;

I am a mother of 3 (2 x Bulldogs and 1 Spaniel) who all have very different personalities and needs. My attention will solely be on your pet though as mine will stay with their dad during me taking care of yours.&nbsp;

Although I have never officially worked with animals, I have grown up with them being a huge part of my life and have lots of experience sitting for friends and family. I know they are so important to us and knowing that they are kept safe, being loved and not ignored will hopefully put your mind at ease. I treat mine like my children and I will provide the same treatment for yours, you will receive updates and photos whenever you like too!&nbsp;

I remember years ago when I was going on holiday, my partner and I were visiting some potential kennels to board ours in. Although the dog boarders seemed lovely - I burst into tears in the car on the way home because I just couldn't do that to our dogs, I felt like they would be so lonely and sad. I just wanted to find someone who I could trust would look after mine and I wouldn't be worried whilst away so I know exactly how some people can be feeling when looking for someone.&nbsp;

Hi. My name is Jess and I am 23. (as of writing this) I have done one year of Animal Care. I'm currently studying Management of Animal Collections with Conservation at Askham Bryan in York for University. I have owned a dog and own a cat. Also walked friends' dogs many times.&nbsp;
I am willing to walk your pet, and take care of them at your house or just drop in for a visit. As someone who walks a lot I know multiple places all of varying lengths I can go to for walks with your pets to make sure they will be receiving the best enrichment possible. I love animals and would love a permanent job with them in the future, preferably the RSPCA. This is to help get experience and to understand the difference between each pet. My services are:
Dog walking between 1-4hrs:
I can take your dog on a walk in multiple places. All of varying lengths to fit the dogs needs. The places I will be going to will be Harewood House, Gledhow Forest, Roundhay Park and Thruscross Resovoir.
Pet visits for check- ins 1-2 times a day:
Here I will come in to your house and visit your pet. I will stay for about 30-45 mins and feed, play and give them attention.
So to avoid wasting time I live in Harehills and do not own a car. This means you must drop your pet off with me unless you are within a suitable distance to walk. If a car will be used I shall be getting a lift from my grandparents who have joined me in walking people's dogs in the past and continue to do so. They also owned multiple dogs in their lifetime so understand the behaviour well.&nbsp;

I’ve had dogs for over 25 years and have always grown up around pets, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I’m DBS checked and fully insured too, so you can have extra peace of mind.
I offer dog walking, pop-in visits and boarding for dogs, cats and small pets. Dog walks are usually 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on your dog and what suits them best. I like to keep the number of dogs I walk at one time low so they get plenty of attention, and I’m happy to do solo walks if that would suit your dog better. Pop-in visits can include feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, letting pets out, giving medication if needed, playtime, cuddles and company. Boarding is very much a home-from-home service, where pets are treated like part of the family and kept to their usual routine as much as possible.
I’m happy to help with regular bookings, occasional cover and holiday care, depending on availability. If there was ever an emergency, I would contact you straight away and/or any other emergency contact. If needed, I would take your pet to your registered vet or the nearest available vet. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first.
Every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their routine, personality and needs. Whether your dog needs a walk, your cat needs company and care at home, or your pet needs a safe and cosy place to stay, I’ll look after them as if they were my own.&nbsp;
