My name is Prisca and I am based in Brighton. Unfortunately due to my living situation I am unable to have pets of my own at the moment, so I thought that pet sitting could be a nice way to spend time with animals while helping people out! I'm 35, self-employed and I live not too far from lots of green spaces (Preston Park, Wild Park, The Level, St Ann's Wells etc.), so I can be flexible with timings and I'm always up for a nature walk, as it's so accessible.
I have a lot of experience with cats and dogs, but would be happy to look after any pet. I like to go on a lot of nature walks, so if you have a dog (or adventurous cat!) I would love to take them out with me, but would be equally happy keeping them company at home, depending on their preference. I know people have different ways of training their pets, so I am very happy to adhere to whatever guidelines you provide. I've spent time with very elderly dogs who required a lot of care, so I have experience dealing with very unique requirements, and I've also been a sitter for lots of cats who ranged from being super affectionate to not wanting much interaction. Either way, I just want to make sure they are happy while you are away!
I offer overnight pet sitting in your home, daily visits and/or daily walks. These can vary in timings, as different pets have different needs, but I will always discuss the details before we confirm a booking to make sure we're on the same page. Past pet owners that I've been a sitter for have asked for visits that included some play time, others just wanted someone to come and feed their pet and then leave - whatever you prefer, I'm easy!

I have grown up with dogs in my family and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Being around dogs brings me a real sense of calm, joy, and connection, and I genuinely love spending time outdoors in all weathers. Becoming a dog walker feels like a natural fit for who I am and how I live my life.

I am a calm, patient, and grounded person, which dogs tend to respond well to. I am also physically fit and active, so I am comfortable with longer walks, energetic dogs, and different walking environments. I understand how important routine, safety, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.

Availability:
I am usually available for morning and afternoon walks, with some flexibility depending on the day.

Services I offer:
Dog walking, drop-in home visits for feeding, companionship, and basic care. I can administer simple oral medication if required, but I do not currently offer grooming or formal training.

Home visits:
Visits typically last 30–45 minutes. I am happy to water plants and bring in post if needed.

Dog walking:
Walks usually last 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs. I walk locally in parks, green spaces, woodland areas, and quiet residential routes where dogs can enjoy variety and stimulation.

House sitting:
For house sitting, I can stay for extended daytime periods or overnight where required. I always ensure doors and windows are secure, follow your home routines carefully, and keep everything safe and respectful.

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 10, and over the years, I’ve built strong bonds with pets of all kinds. As a child I had a Labrador from 2007–2019 and I now have a Bengal cat, so I’m very used to high-energy pets and can keep up with long walks and plenty of zoomies. I like to keep fit, so I’m happy to offer walks ranging from 30 minutes up to 2.5–3 hours depending on your dog’s needs. I enjoy playing, keeping animals mentally stimulated, and even inventing new games to keep things fun and engaging.
I pay close attention to each pet’s individual routine, including dietary requirements, exercise levels, and any specific behaviours. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs a bit of extra patience, I always adapt my approach to suit them. I especially love Dachshunds and small breeds, but I’m equally happy with big, friendly dogs.

I've been trusted to look after my friends and families pets, from hamsters to rabbits, goldfish, dogs, and lots of cats in-between! I have always enjoyed how rewarding it is to look after animals, they make me feel so happy and relaxed - I genuinely love it!I love being there for my clients, and their sweet animals alike. I have a wealth of experience with different dogs and cats. I often like to watch how they settle into their own environment, e.g. if they have a favourite spot, or if they like to be scratched behind the ears!   What's the craic?! (Means what's up in Irish haha) my names Caolán! I have recently moved to Brighton from Ireland one of my favourite things about Brighton is just how many dogs I see everyday while I'm out and about I personally have a cat called crystal and a dog called Roxie back home which safe to say I miss them very much. 


  So what a better way to help with that is to see you peoples cats and dogs! I was recomended pawshake by my sister who is also been a pet sitter for quite a while now and I thought the idea sounded brillant!

Welcome! Having grown up my entire life with dogs and pets around me daily I have full confidence with all breeds and size dogs. I have had family pets while growing up and all my closest friends own pets.I have previously volunteered in many animal shelters and sanctuarys abroad whilst on my travels.I have a real connection with dogs in particiular and love spending quality time together. For me the most enjoyable day is walking up the downs or in the country to appreciate the nature.I have always had dogs in my life and I am blessed with being able to have lots of time on my hands to being able to give lots of care and attention.I myself enjoy being outside in all weathers and have a real love for nature from the local countryside to the beach. I am very polite , punctual and always stick to my word. I live on my own and I have a medium sized garden which is fully secure and gated. Guest pets can sleep over. Please provide bed. I am available all weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings. Very flexible and lots of spare time. I work part time in a care environment assisting people in semi independent capacity. therefore I have a lot of free time throughout the week from morning to evenings.
I do not have any restrictions at all and am willing to provide care for all dogs and all sizes.Dog walks would be around a 1-2 hour country or beach walk.
