Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Sittingbourne home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Sittingbourne.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Sittingbourne home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello! I'm a passionate dog lover with years of experience caring for all types of pooches. I'm a dog parent myself, and I know how much you love your furry friends. My calm demeanour helps dogs feel comfortable. I'm located in the Chatham area and would love to chat about your dog's individual needs.
I offer personalised dog-sitting services, such as house-sitting, dog walking and home visits! I understand the specific needs of different breeds. I'll provide daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your fur baby is in good hands. I'm also happy to discuss any special instructions you have.
I am fully flexible, available in mornings, afternoons or evenings, i can also administer oral medication for your doggos and i am pretty good at training!
My dog walks will go completely of your own instructions, i will never set a time for walks due to the different needs for each dog, i am aware some may not be able to walk for to long and some prefer a long walk!
When house sitting i will be available for however long you need me, your pet will never be left alone unless necessary Issues arise, even then it would not be for more than 30 minutes to an hour. I will do my upmost best to make sure your house is secure for my safety and your pets safety and i expect the same from the owners home id be staying at, respect and trust is very important.
Please note, I do not have a DBS (Most on here don't and legally I don't need one), and please also know that I cannot have dogs at my home due to my own life and fur babies, I'm only available for dog services at the recipient's address! This will not affect my utmost care for your pooches.
I am open to taking care of any other animals too. I am a huge animal lover and it's a great passion for me.

HiI'm Kathy, 31 from Kent. I work full time as a Customer Consultant but love to dedicate my spare time to looking after and playing with animals.I have been a pet owner for the last twenty years and love coming home to my furry friends. I currently have a cat called Tara who is a very tempremetnal little lady. She has a very quirky personality and can be especially friendly when she's after food. I regularly look after her, feeding her, grooming her and being a great cat mum :)I am very caring, trustworthy and hardworking. I strive to provide a great service on every job I do. Whilst I do work full time I like to do pet sitting in my spare time so that their owners can go away safe in the knowledge that their pets will be well looked after.I previously pet sat several dogs, cats and even some goats!I can visit local homes and feed your cat/dog/walk your dog if required. I can also give your pets the loving care you would give them if you were there. If you need to go away for a day or several days at a time I can also offer my services and I'm happy to stay overnight to look after your pets. I can also do any ad hoc services you might need like removing mail etc. I am available for jobs in the local Lordswood area.

A little about me.
I am a fun outgoing bubbly person who loves to fuss and cuddle all kids of animals. I have experience with fish as well as dogs and always happy to look after other animals with the right guidance. I drive so distance isn't really an issue. I work as a Mobile Nail Technician and love my job and flexibility it brings. Looking after your babies will be a pleasure and I always ensure I send photos and videos of your baby while your away so you can rest assured they are happy and content.

I look forward to meeting you and your babies

Hi, i'm Phil, and I run Goldies Dog Walking,
I have owned or been around dogs most of my life and love their company, caring for them and of course, their loyalty.
I am fully insured and DBS-checked for your peace of mind, so if you require someone to walk, pet-sit your best friend (cats inc), or just pop in please feel free to get in touch.
I am very flexible and always try to accommodate clients' needs. I cover all of the Medway towns 7 days a week, including eves. For an added bonus, my daughter works for a private veterinary practice, so advice is always available and may be a money saver before a trip to your vet.
I will always insist on a meet & greet so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease with one another. I always follow the instructions of the clients; after all, you know your best friend better than I do, so if you require someone trustworthy, reliable, and an animal lover to take care of your best friend
Please feel free to get in touch.
Regards, Phil.

Hi! I'm Gee, I'm 25 and I've been petsitting & dog walking since 2021 (which is somehow 4 years!) - I'm looking for some extra work for when my regular clients don't need me during their holidays/days off etc - I'm mainly looking for evening walks and visits and cat and small pet check ins, but I'll happily also do dog walks anywhere else I can fit them into my day! - I love cats as well as dogs and don't get to spend enough time with them! I'm not able to take pets into my home as I have a dog myself (Milo) so I only offer sitting in the owners home, walks and check ins. I can be available on weekends as well as weekdays! I'm happy to work with any animal and have experience with reactive dogs so don't be afraid to ask! Whether it's morning and evening feeding, play, letting them out for the toilet, popping in on hot days to break up their day or playing some mentally enriching games in the garden, I'll always help wherever I can!

Hello, I'm Arianna and I am here offering my services because I adore animals. I have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I understand the difficulties of not always being able to be there for your pets. Now that I have a lot more free time on my hands and am looking into being a pet sitter full time rather than part time like I have been. I've cared for a wide range of dogs and covered breeds from Rottweiler to Doberman, French bulldog to shepherds and springers. In the past I've also cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs and other small animals of that sort. Cats will always have my heart most due to my own stealing my heart before I had the dogs. Being able to care for animals and make them happy gives me such.
In terms of other forms of experience, I've had to give animals different forms of medications such as eye drops, pills and more and have worked to ensure I can deliver the medications in the most effective and caring way possible. Walking dogs isn't just a chore to me, it's a great way to help the mind and give the dog some exercise that it's bound to love.
My services include house sitting, overnight stays, walks and more!

Hello, my name is Aktar and I am a doggy daddy to a lovely little cockatoo, Alfie.
I enjoy working with dogs of all shapes and sizes.
I've been doing a dog sitting for a number of months now on another app (begins with R) and have excellent feedback from the owners of the pets.
While a dog an under my care I like to think of them as my own pet and take care of them in exactly the same way as I do my own.
I work from home so I'm with the dogs constantly and all their needs are taken care of at all times.
Of a house of the garden, so the dogs are free to come and go in and out of the house as they please.
And the garden is regularly cleaned to ensure there is a hygienic environment for them.
The neighbourhood sports lots and lots of Open spaces such as a nearby forest as well as parks where the dogs can actually be let off the lead to run freely in a safe environment.
I aim to take the dogs out twice a day for their exercises. Their feeding routine depends on the dog who is under my care and I will accommodate accordingly.
I'm happy with without a meeting greet as my own dog gets along with all of the dogs.
