Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Stockbridge home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Stockbridge.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Stockbridge home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi there! My name’s Luka, and I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and plenty of other pets, and I honestly can’t imagine life without them. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me — I love spending time outdoors walking dogs, playing with them, or just giving them company when their owners are away.
Right now, I can’t offer any pet care at my own place due to my living conditions, but I’m more than happy to provide any external services like dog walking (length decided by owner), pet sitting at your home (length would vary on availability), or drop-in visits. I’m a very respectful and trustworthy person, and I always make sure to follow each owner’s instructions exactly as they’d like. Every pet is unique, so I take time to understand their needs — and if I’m ever unsure about something, I’ll always ask questions to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved.

Hello! My name is Maiia, and I’m a animal lover with a deep commitment to caring for pets of all kind and size. I am confident caring for aging pets, pets with special need or requiring medical support, have experience in international pet transferring and organising logistics. Most meaningful experiences in my life was in Sweden during the Ukrainian refugee crisis. I supported families in distress arriving with pets who required mandatory medical checkup and often assistance, helping organise and provide it, as well as assisting in housing, legal support and humanitarian necessities. In my life I cared for 80+ pets (dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, snakes, etc.), trained basics for puppies and older dogs, groomed pets, assisted with veterinary appointments, accompanied families before, during and after surgical operations, performed medical support treatments (including injections) and even supported the delivery of six puppies in a dormitory I was managing at that time. Knowing that first of these puppies was named after me still warms my heart today. From a young age, I’ve grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, learning to understand their unique personalities, moods, and needs. Spending time with animals brings me genuine joy, and I love creating a safe, nurturing, and playful environment where they feel loved, comfortable and supported.
My experience with pets strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm in crisis situations, while taking responsibility for sorting them out. I bring this dedication to every pet I care for, whether it’s walking, feeding, grooming, or simply offering companionship. My motivation is simple: I believe every pet should feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away, and I treat each one as if they were part of my own family.More Locations Available: UK and EuropeMore Service Available:- Dog walks (Winchester)- Dog Grooming at home (Hampshire)- Cat visits (Winchester)- House/Pet sitting & overnight stays (Hampshire - no limit, UK - 5+ days, Europe - 7+ days; with travel compensation)- Training and light behaviour correction for puppies + advice and instructions for further work (when sitting)

Hello! We're Kez and James, a young couple married for just over two years with a shared passion for animals and travel. We love discovering new places while caring for pets as if they were our own. Over the years we've had the joy of looking after many dogs in either the homes of their owners, or in our own home. We often look after our two family Border Terriers - one is rather nervous and dog-shy - and our two lovely family cats. They're a a big part of our lives and have really helped us understand how different each pet's personality can be.
Our experience includes everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming, administering medication, and making sure your home stays clean and cared for whilst you're away. We understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable and safe, and we take pride in creating a calm, loving environment for them.
We're open to looking after most domestic pets, not just dogs and cats, and we're always open to discuss specific needs such as medication administration or specific routines or just to get to know us! If you're looking for trustworthy, experienced and loving sitters we would love to help!
In regards to our home stays, James works full time from home so there would rarely be a moment alone for your loved ones or your home. This also comes with the benefits of being in for deliveries and watering plants etc!
We can't wait to meet you and your little furry friends!

Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has become both my passion and my purpose. I specialise in supporting nervous, senior, and rescue dogs—the ones who need a little extra patience, understanding, and calm. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than watching a worried dog slowly relax, build trust, and start to feel safe in their own time.I run Tanya’s Tails Aplenty, a welfare‑first pet care service based in Romsey, where I offer gentle, structured walks, drop‑ins, and tailored support for dogs who thrive in quieter environments. I’m Canine First Aid trained, experienced with multi‑dog households, and confident with dogs who have anxiety, medical needs, or complex backgrounds.Alongside pet care, I design and make welfare‑focused dog accessories, which has strengthened my understanding of canine comfort, body language, and safe handling.I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely invested in every animal I look after. Your dog will always be treated with patience, respect, and the same kindness I give my own. My goal is simple: to help your pet feel secure, understood, and happy while you’re away.
