I am a forth-year veterinary student at Bristol Veterinary School with a strong interest in small animal medicine, and I genuinely enjoy caring for both cats and dogs. During term time, I am based in Bristol, and during university holiday periods I am based in London, allowing me to offer pet sitting services in both locations at different times of the year.I have extensive hands-on experience with companion animals through both my studies and previous work. This includes placements involving dogs and cats, as well as two weeks of intensive cattery experience, where I gained confidence caring for multiple cats, including pregnant queens and those requiring extra monitoring. If the dog is friendly and comfortable around other dogs, I may take them to local parks or country parks, always prioritising safety. House SittingHow long can you stay in the owner’s home?I can usually stay for up to one week, depending on my schedule. During Christmas, Easter, and summer holidays, I am able to offer longer house-sitting stays.What home security measures will you take?I will ensure doors are locked, blinds or curtains are properly closed, and the home is kept tidy. I am also happy to wash bedsheets or carry out light household tasks as agreed.

Hi! I’m currently living in Chepstow with my partner and our cat. I have two dogs at my family home, and I grew up with four dogs and eight cats, so I am prepared for pretty much anything and any behaviour! I would love to help you and the furry (or feathery, or even scaly!) members of your family, whether that’s playing, walking or just spending quality time with them!&nbsp;
I am happy to look after your pets both indoors and outdoors, including walks/runs, feeding and general entertainment. I can do up to two walks a day.
In addition, during home visits, I can feed, walk and let pets outside for fresh air. I would stay for as long as needed to ensure pets are not left alone for too long.
Of course, regular updates can be provided if you wish, as I know how stressful it can be to leave your animals for longer periods.

As an international adoptee, I moved around a lot in my childhood and always found comfort in animals when I couldn't always in people. I also experienced a range of cultures where standards for animal welfare vary hugely and throughout it all, pursued my passion for caring for them. As I begged for my own pet I often bonded with strays and researched how to care for them appropriately. And, when my family settled in the UK, I was able to adopt my beloved rescue cat. Alongside this, I nursed quite a few rodents like various mice and a hamster as I could only afford smaller pets. I also half grew up in the countryside as my family there owns a farm that nurtures a diverse spread of animals- so I've been accustomed to catering to a wide variety of needs and personalities from a young age. From horses to chickens, I took great pride in learning the ins and outs of each individual creature and tackling any challenge or temperament to give them the best experience- because it's the least they deserve. I think it's beautiful to bond with animals and build that trust, as well as helping to train or develop them as their own beings. My cat definitely has his own personality ! 
Because of my love for animals, I often bond with all my friend and family member's pets, so have quite a lot of experience with dogs despite not owning them. I'm definitely the type to almost remember the pet's name over the person's. Known as a little nerdy animal enthusiast from a young age, I've had a long-term goal to build my own rescue shelter in the future ! I truly adore working with animals so thought it would be more than worth it to apply for this :) 

I'm a photography student here in Bristol and have the whole summer free to get outside walking and hopefully take a doggy with me.&nbsp;
I'm flexible, reliable and able to provide any special requests that you might have, whether it's attending to an elderly dog in your own home, bathe, give required medication, take multiple excitable dogs out together or stay over night in your home or mine.&nbsp;
In my home, your pet will receive the care they need; they are never left alone more than a couple hours, they will have multiple long walks throughout the day to ensure they sleep well at night, if your dog is elderly and just prefers a short game a ball in the park then that's totally fine, I will cater to the needs of individual pets.
I live in Bristol now with a couple of my good friends who love cuddling a dog, so your pet will get a lot of love and affection. My home has plenty of space inside and have a reasonably sized garden that has a secure fence. I am able to let your pet sleep wherever they are most comfortable and your preference, whether thats in a crate, in their own dog bed, in my bedroom, sofa, kitchen etc.&nbsp;
In my surrounding area I have many of lovely parks for your pet to run around in to ensure they get the exercise they need.&nbsp;
