"I contacted Vanessa after carefully reading a handful of profiles - she seemed like a really good fit for my needs. Vanessa visited us once before we booked to make sure it was a good fit for all (she was staying in my house for the 8 days we would be away) and I just got a warm feeling straight away. She’s very experienced with cats and very nuanced to their behaviours and personalities. Even the first visit was exceptional with my timid little girl going straight over to Vanessa for a stroke - never happens! After the first visit I booked Vanessa and she came to see us again a week before hols to get house keys and just run through a few things. Vanessa is a vegetarian so I bought some food for her to make sure she had enough for at least a few days (plus a few little thank you gifts and treats).
During the holiday, I got plenty of updates and photos which was really reassuring as I have 3 cats with totally different needs. My youngest was recovering from a nasty bite and needed watching closely (discharged by vet but wound still healing) - he also has separation anxiety and needs quite a lot of attention. My oldest is partially deaf and blind and needs help sometimes when it’s food time. My middle cat is a total outdoors girl - so it can be hard to keep track of her just to make sure she’s still around and ok.
Vanessa did a fabulous job. My cats really took to her which is such a relief (I know how picky they can be). They had lots of play and were fed,watered and cuddled lots ❤️My youngest took a real shine to her and of the 3 he’s the least likely to attach himself to anyone else.
Vanessa is a confident cat carer and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again or recommend her. She even stayed calm in the first few days when the front door lock broke and we worked out a solution. My house was lovely and tidy when I got home too.

"We had a lovely holiday knowing our cats were in safe hands. Emily kept us updated with regular photos and updates and took great care of our house. One of our cats even wanted to go home with her! We would highly recommend Emily and have already got our next trip booked in with Emily! "

"This was our first time using a pet sitter (ever!). It was great for us and our furs to be able to meet Lou beforehand. loads of appropriate questions were asked to make sure the needs of all our furs would be met. Whilst away, Lou sent plenty of pictures and videos every day along with updates, which really put us at ease, and we could see how happy and comfortable they all were in Lou's company. This was ever more important as all are rescues and one of our rescue dogs is particularly nervous (although has made great improvements with us) with strangers- we could see her happy wagging tail in the videos which really made our day! we will 100% be booking Lou again, its really taken the stress of having to organise babysitting with family/friends etc away! Thank you so much again Lou! 🌟"

"I would highly recommend Nicola. We had a lovely meet and greet - Nicola is really interesting - but more importantly you could feel how kind and gentle she is with the animals. Nicola looked after our 3 rescue dogs, 2 cats and even gave hay to the horses. Whilst away Nicola gave me regular updates and photos. if she had any queries she immediately sent a message to clarify which was so reassuring. One of our older dogs was unable to walk with the other two. Nicola was more than happy to take Maddy on her own little slower paced walks and followed the instructions to keep her happy and well. When we got home, the dogs were very excited to see us but also nice and relaxed. Always a good sign. I would definitely use Nicola again. "

"Koraisha has been fantastic from start to finish. I needed someone to watch 4 dogs during a hospital stay and it's not for the fainthearted, I spotted Koraisha and though she was a bit further out her profile led me to believe that she was experienced and wouldn't be put off by 4 dogs, one of which is a very old boy. Her communication from the onset was excellent and she came out and met the dogs, and was a natural with them putting me and them at ease. My old dog had a seizure the night before Koraisha arrived so I was a bit stressed, but she was unflappable and put me at ease, and he was fine throughout the stay under her care. During the stay she was excellent sending videos to let me know how they were doing, and offering to do shopping for me for when I returned. I think she was the perfect choice to offer my dogs lots of love and cuddles during her stay, and I will definitely have her back again if she hasn't been put off."

"We were visiting North Yorkshire for a wedding and needed a sitter to care for our 11 year old Labrador and our 4 month old Patterdale puppy on her first holiday. We instantly felt at ease when Brook arrived at our cottage and the dogs absolutely loved her. She gave us pupdates through the evening so we could relax and when we came back the dogs were happily chilled out and sleeping. Couldn’t ask for more than that. Would highly recommend Brook as a pet sitter 😊"
