Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Twyford home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Twyford.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Twyford home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I am a full time, hard working person willing to help care for any animal in need.
I’m a veterinary assistant, before that I was at a dog kennels; providing the care for dogs and cats. I’ve got a certificate in animal management care level 2 diploma. Always loved things big and small. Tend to spend majority of my time at home with my animals making sure their needs are kept up with. I go out on daily walks with my dog three or four times a day. Very active. If not I'm at home with both dog and cat playing with them and implementing training needed.
Check food and medications required with the owner ahead of time. Before taking on a dog, make sure the owner supplies you with enough food, and if they're on a special diet, get the details from the owner ahead of time or at drop-off. If the dog requires specific medication, you need to be comfortable giving this.
The daily animal caretaking routine usually involves feeding and providing drinking water for each animal, making sure that their enclosure is clean, safe, appropriately warm, and, if needed, stocked with materials to keep the animal active and engaged. I seem to have the magic touch when it comes to animals.

Hello there! I am a passionate, caring and reliable pet sitter who truly believes that pets are family. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and becoming a pet sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with a meaningful service that helps owners feel completely at ease. My motivation comes from the joy I see in happy, relaxed pets and the trust that their owners place in me! Dog WalkingWhether your dog needs a quick walk to stretch their legs or a longer outing to burn off energy, I provide safe, attentive walks tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m happy to work with different ages, sizes, and energy levels, making sure your dog gets the exercise, stimulation, and care they deserve. Home VisitsIf your pet prefers to stay in the comfort of their own home, I can stop by for visits to feed them, refresh water, clean litter trays or cages, give medication if needed, and of course spend time giving them attention and play. This is perfect for cats, small pets, or dogs who just need a check-in during the day.I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals, including but not limited to daily walks, overnight stays, feeding routines, medication administration, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. I’ve previously looked after energetic puppies, senior pets needing extra patience, and shy rescue animals who required gentle reassurance. I always provide updates and photos throughout so you feel connected while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities.

Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Animal welfare and safety are core values for me, supported by my BSc in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science. I’ve shared my life with dogs, cats, and a variety of small pets, and I’m also an experienced equestrian.

Professionally, I have experience running my own pet care business, completing a year of veterinary nurse training, and I’m certified in canine and feline first aid. I also have hands-on experience caring for rescue animals and nervous dogs, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and loved. I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy, and reliable, always following care instructions to the letter.

I have worked with animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to elderly pets with complex needs. My late cat, Tigger, was diabetic and high-maintenance, and caring for him taught me that nothing is too much when it comes to their wellbeing.

I genuinely love every animal as if they were my own and will provide the same level of care, attention, and affection to your furry family member. I can’t wait to meet them!

Are you seeking a reliable and passionate companion for your furry friend? I'm here to help! I have always had a passion for all animals and have always felt drawn to them. It's a privilege to share companionship with your beloved pets, and I'm excited to meet your fur babies!
I'm currently in my final year of studying to become a therapist and have been able to look after pets in my spare time alongside studying. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate quality time to your dogs, treating each one as if they were my own.
I specialise in caring for small to medium-sized dogs offering services such as dog walking and drop-in visits where I will play with your pup, give access to the toilet and provide them with food and water. I'm happy to change puppy mats for puppies! I will usually stay with pets for up to two hours per visit but can stay longer if required. Dog walks can range from 15-45 min walks. You can let me know if there's a preferred area that you would like your dog to be walked. I'm understanding of different dogs' temperaments and comfortability around other dogs, so if your dog prefers a more secluded areas I will always do my best to accommodate that.
I would also be happy to consider overnight boarding in your home, grooming services and administering medication upon request. My approach combines enthusiasm with responsibility, ensuring your dog receives the attention and care they deserve.
I am usually available on most weekdays from 9am - 7pm. Please note I may charge a travel fee depending on location.
If you have any questions or want to learn more, please feel free to send me a message. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your canine companion!

Dear pet owners, I'm Jen, 31, and have over 20 years of experience with dogs and cats. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Having had my own family dog as a child and spending a total of 6 months in various dog/cat shelters over the last four years has given me a broad knowledge of dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds and how to care for them, feed them, administer medication, etc. Helping out at the dog shelter is a passion of mine and I want to help and care for animals wherever I can.
I offer individual and loving care as well as home visits to feed, clean the cat litter tray, walk the dog, play with your pet, give them cuddles and more. On request, overnight stays or multi-day care at your home are also possible, with regular updates and photos. Short-term bookings are also possible. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you and your pet!

With 22 years of experience growing up around a range of house pets (Dogs, Cats, Hamsters) and a small stint at BCA college doing an animal management course, has made me find a passion for caring for animals and I find myself wanting to make a switch into the animal care industry.
I'd like to build some experience through this as well some customer relations with the services I offer. I hope to have reoccurring customers that can entrust their animals to me on a weekly/monthly basis.

What I offer?
I currently only offer dog walking to help me build some experience. (My planned routes currently are - Burnham Beeches, Kennedy Park Fields, Burnham Village Fields, Baylis Court Fields. Other routes can be worked out if the distance is too far between)
I do later plan to do home stays and possibly some training sessions once I get my footing.

Why me?
* I have planned local routes safe for your dog to explore.
* I've got prior experience walking my own personal dogs as well as other friend's dogs. The largest dog being a border collie.
* I can make a care plan based on your dog's needs if necessary. (information will be needed)
* Fast and Reliable responses and can update you on your dog if needed.

In Emergencies!
I currently cannot drive and am working on getting my license. If your dog suffers from any diseases that need treatment please notify me in the booking, i will try to accommodate to their needs. In the event I cannot meet their needs a cancellation of your booking may take effect.
In the event your dog suffers any injuries or suddenly requires veterinary treatment, you will be contacted as well as your registered vet. I will do everything in my power to get attention to your animal to prevent any unwanted mishaps.

Hi, I’m Monica, a genuine animal lover with many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and a wide range of other animals.
I recently said goodbye to my beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Lily, after almost 15 wonderful years together. She was much more than a pet — she was my constant companion and a very important part of my family, my second child. Caring for her throughout her life taught me just how much dogs rely on patience, routine, understanding and, above all, genuine companionship.
That experience has made me even more passionate about giving other dogs the same feeling of being safe, loved and cared for when their owners are away.
I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods.
I have experience caring for dogs, horses, birds and reptiles, and I have completed several animal-care and veterinary-nursing qualifications:

Level 3 Award in Horse Care & Stable Management – Higher Distinction
Level 3 Award in Equine Behaviour & Psychology – Higher Distinction
Level 2 & 3 Awards in Veterinary Nursing – Higher Distinction

I am comfortable following individual routines, administering medication when required, and providing extra patience and reassurance for older, nervous or more sensitive dogs.
My home has a large, secure garden, giving dogs a safe space to relax, explore and enjoy some fresh air. I aim to keep their normal routine as much as possible, including walks, playtime, meals, rest and plenty of companionship.
Most importantly, I treat every dog as an individual. I want them to feel safe, relaxed and genuinely at home while they are staying with me.
If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced and caring dog sitter where your dog will receive plenty of attention and feel part of the family, I’d love to meet you and your dog.
