Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Ulcombe home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Ulcombe.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Ulcombe home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I’ve shared my life with cats and dogs for as long as I can remember and currently live with my partner and our two rescue cats, Felix and Pixie, both adopted from the RSPCA.
I understand that every pet is different. Some want endless fuss and playtime, while others prefer their routine and a bit of space. My aim is always to keep your pet happy, comfortable and relaxed in their own environment while you’re away.
Every visits includes:
Fresh food and water *provided by owner*
Litter tray cleaning (cats)
Playtime and enrichment
Medication if required
Plenty of fuss (if welcomed!)
Photo & Video updates after every visit
Your pet’s wellbeing is always my priority. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I’ll follow their routine closely and keep you updated throughout your booking for complete peace of mind.
A typical visit starts with a quick check that everything is as it should be, followed by feeding, fresh water and any medication if needed.
Then comes the fun part playtime, cuddles, treats and company (depending on your pet’s preferences!). Before I leave, I’ll send you a quick update and a few photos so you know how they’re getting on.
To help me provide the best care possible, please let me know:
Feeding routines
Any medications or health conditions
Favourite toys, treats and activities
House access arrangements
Any quirks, fears or special requirements
The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel at home while you’re away

 Holiday Notice Period
August and December are my busiest months, so I recommend booking early to avoid disappointment!
December 2026 update:
I have limited availability over the Christmas period and may be unavailable from 27th December onwards due to family commitments.
If you're planning a holiday and need someone to look after your fur babies, please get in touch as early as possible. I'll always do my best to accommodate your dates where I can! ️

A little about me.
I am a fun outgoing bubbly person who loves to fuss and cuddle all kids of animals. I have experience with fish as well as dogs and always happy to look after other animals with the right guidance. Hi! I'm Gee, I'm 25 and I've been petsitting & dog walking since 2021 (which is somehow 4 years!) - I'm looking for some extra work for when my regular clients don't need me during their holidays/days off etc - I'm mainly looking for evening walks and visits and cat and small pet check ins, but I'll happily also do dog walks anywhere else I can fit them into my day! - I love cats as well as dogs and don't get to spend enough time with them! I'm not able to take pets into my home as I have a dog myself (Milo) so I only offer sitting in the owners home, walks and check ins. I can be available on weekends as well as weekdays! I'm happy to work with any animal and have experience with reactive dogs so don't be afraid to ask! Whether it's morning and evening feeding, play, letting them out for the toilet, popping in on hot days to break up their day or playing some mentally enriching games in the garden, I'll always help wherever I can!

Hello, I'm Arianna and I am here offering my services because I adore animals. I have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I understand the difficulties of not always being able to be there for your pets. Now that I have a lot more free time on my hands and am looking into being a pet sitter full time rather than part time like I have been. I've cared for a wide range of dogs and covered breeds from Rottweiler to Doberman, French bulldog to shepherds and springers. In the past I've also cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs and other small animals of that sort. Cats will always have my heart most due to my own stealing my heart before I had the dogs. Being able to care for animals and make them happy gives me such.
In terms of other forms of experience, I've had to give animals different forms of medications such as eye drops, pills and more and have worked to ensure I can deliver the medications in the most effective and caring way possible. Walking dogs isn't just a chore to me, it's a great way to help the mind and give the dog some exercise that it's bound to love.
My services include house sitting, overnight stays, walks and more!

I have three dogs, a Jackawawa called Phoebe who is 13 years old and we also have her daughter who is 10 years old. I also have a Staffordshire Bullterrier called Peggy whos nearly 2.
Peggy has come with me on many pet sitting jobs as she just loves other dogs, so if your dog is dog friendly and you are happy for Peggy to come along on walks and to stay then they will have great fun.
I have regularly looked after families dogs ranging from chihuahuas, Staffy's and English Bulldogs.
I am happy to look after other animals such as Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters etc...
A typical dog walk: I love visiting new places or going to old places such as Sissinghurst Castle, Local Fields etc... If owners are happy I do take photos of the dogs on walks to show them having fun. I can walk 2/3 dogs at once, if you only have one dog and happy for them to be walked with another then I can buddy them up with Peggy.
I offer dog walking, house sitting, drop-in's and even small animal care such as looking after rabbits, Guinea pigs etc...

I've grown up with pets my whole life - from my first dog Toby to my current cat Chevy - there's something comforting about having a fur-presence in your home. Dogs in particular have always had a natural affinity towards me.
I grew up in the West Sussex area - then lived & worked as an Engineer in USA for 18 years. During that time, I was often entrusted to take care of many of ourneighbours’ & friends’ dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, & mammals when they went out of town. (I can provide references upon request.)
I just recently moved back to the UK & am excited to embark on a new passion in life by offering trusted, experienced care for your pets. Every visit will include feeding & fresh water, play time, pets & cuddles, any medication requirements, & a photo or video with a pet update. (I can also bring in any mail, water any plants, take out or bring in any bins.)
I'm happy to come over for a free meet & greet in advance of your trip, so you can be confident you're leaving your pet in the best of hands in your absence. Serving Kent TN27 & all local surrounding areas up to a 30-minute radius.
"Tail-Wagging Care You Can Count On"

Hi, I’m Abbie!

I’ve been around dogs for years and previously had my own dog walking/daycare business, so I have experience with a wide range of breeds including Jack Russells, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, French bulldogs and German Shepherds.
I currently have one dog of my own, but I completely understand that not all dogs are comfortable around others, so I’m happy to keep them separate and focus entirely on your dog’s needs.

I’m based in Lenham, Maidstone Kent, which is perfect for a variety of walks, from peaceful countryside routes to more stimulating environments depending on what your dog enjoys most.
I have means of transport to commute, so I can pick up / drop off your dog.

I hold diplomas in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, Pet Psychology, and Pet Nutrition, so your dog will be in knowledgeable and capable hands.
I always use positive reinforcement and tailor my approach to suit each individual dog’s personality, routine, and any specific requirements they may have.

I have experience with:
	•	Puppies (including early socialisation in safe ways)
	•	Nervous or reactive dogs
	•	High-energy breeds
	•	Senior dogs who may need a gentler pace

Whether your dog needs a fun, enriching walk or calm companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

I pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and communicative
I’ll always keep you updated so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

I can’t wait to meet you and your dog

Lifelong dog lover and proud Shih Tzu owner offering friendly, reliable dog walking and home-from-home care. I’ve grown up around dogs and understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels. I have experience with small breeds, puppies, and nervous dogs, and I always take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe, relaxed, and happy in my care.
Walks are usually 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time so every dog receives proper supervision, attention, and a safe experience. Dogs staying with me enjoy regular toilet breaks, playtime, affection, exercise, and a cosy, clean home environment alongside my friendly Shih Tzu. Pets are rarely left alone for more than short periods, and I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
Safety is very important to me. I always keep dogs secure on walks, carefully introduce new dogs, and make sure pets have a calm sleeping area and constant access to fresh water. In emergencies or unexpected situations, I stay calm, contact owners immediately, and seek veterinary help if needed. I’m also looking to continue building my experience and qualifications in pet care to provide the best possible service for every dog I meet.
