I Work full time for the NHS for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, Monday-Friday, 8.45am-5pm. This means I am able to perform a drop in visit prior to starting work and I'm able to provide your pet with plenty of fuss on a evening, as well as being available almost every weekend. For house sitting, I could reduce my hours (with notice) so that your pet isn't home alone for too long. My house visits are 30 minutes long, if I don't have any other plans and your pet loves attention, then I'd be happy to stay longer (at no extra charge).
I don't accept too many bookings on the same day, I like to be organised so that I know how much time I have. I'm very punctual.
I lost my French bulldog in December and the pain was too much, I could never go through that heartbreak again. So I've decided to become a pet sitter, that way I get to give other people's pets a lot of fuss and attention.
I have been a pet sitter for my friends and I've also had a few jobs from another app. I'm happy with following your rules and routines. I'm comfortable with administering medication, my furbaby was on painkillers, metacam, she needed ear and eye drops and required medicated bathing. I also had a house rabbit who needed to be syringe fed a few times. I will clean litter trays as well as furballs. If you book me for a long period of time, I would also put your bins out for collection.
I'm DBS checked and fully insured. I will send you daily updates as well as pictures of your beloved pets. I would always contact you in an emergency and would seek urgent veterinary treatment should your pet require any.
If you have any nervous animals, I'm happy to let them come to me, I would never enforce any attention. But if you have a cuddly pet.......then I'd be more than happy to oblige!
My girl used a wheelchair, so I'm comfortable with those as well as buggies.
I would only ever walk your pets, I don't do group walks. I love walks along the coast and my furbaby loved chasing the squirrels in our local park and cemetery. Walks are usually 30 minutes long, longer if we are along the coast as we'll probably stop for a pupcup (as long as your pet is allowed to have ). I also don't allow dogs off lead, unless it's in a safe and enclosed garden.


From a ripe old age of 3 my mum had a gorgeous white Persian cat, apparently I was the most gentle with her and I would sit and stroke her gently. Through out my childhood we rescued cats from the street and I would always help build little dens for them and chastise other kids for ever hurting them. That's where my love for cats began. My childhood pet Tabatha was a little pet companion to me she slept in the bed and I learnt to feed her by this time I was around 11. Into my young adult hood we had a gorgeous tortoise shell kitty and I rescued her from a pet shop. It wasn't usual for us but I wanted to keep her safe and in the knowledge she would have comfort and food and not neglected.
I lived with a partner and a big black and white semi wild Tom cat came to our home more often and not and he was very timid to start but got closer til then he popped in every day for breakfast at mine and several other houses (six dinner Sid) but then he stayed at night he was a very humorous cute cat who adopted us! He was a lovely nature but sometimes he'd go astray n I was his cat mum.
I now have a purpose in life to care and protect animals and the cats local to me. I have quickly slotted into the local communitys hub to talk cat and I even sold my premium cat kin food as my Athena didn't want it.Cats and dogs, other small domesticated pets also (guineas/rabbits/rodents) in the Whickham area is a place where I could offer my services.&nbsp;I can do a one to 2 night cat stay if needed or morning breakfast feeds and walks for pooches.I will be relocating to Blyth in the near future so i expect to be there by end of July 2026.Afternoon and evening feeds as well as nurture through care and grooming.I offer cat sitting/dog sit ins walks and daily visits for short visits currently. I love animals and would love to help out when you need your fur-babies looked after. I have a lot of experience with dogs with high energy. Your fur-babies would be in good hands. I am reliable and trustworthy, available any day of the week and will try to work around you where possible. I can do walks last minute and am always happy to spend the night with your pet if you can't be there. I am now happy to say I’m boarding animals - so what ever you need, I’m happy to help. I do have small children so all animals staying need to be ok with kids and I never leave the animals alone with the children.

Hello! My name is Thea and I offer a pet sitting service specifically for cats, where I will visit your home to look after your cat(s) while you are away. I am based in Chester-le-Street, but can travel as far as Durham, Newcastle, or Bishop Auckland if needed. The duration of single visits is about 1 hour, but you can book me for double visits which means I will come twice a day (perfect if your kitties are used to being fed in the morning and evening), or overnight which means I will spend the full 24 hours around your cat, which I know can be reassuring to some people whose feline friends require an extra amount of attention. I have been around pets my entire life, and have owned a cat (on occasion several cats) since the age of 7. I know from experience how difficult it can be to leave your pet when going away, so I would love to help ease this process and make both you and your feline friend's experience apart as comfortable and stress-free as possible by providing them with the utmost care and attention during your time away. I know that every cat is different and always take the time to get to know the cat's own set of needs and ways of communicating. I have previous experience looking after kitties, including shy and aloof cats who tend to warm to me in their own way. If you choose me as your next cat sitter I will make sure your kitty is well taken care of, and will send daily pictures and updates of our time together. I offer daily visits to your home so that your cat can feel comfortable in its own environment, and can also do overnight stays. I am usually available in the morning and early afternoon, but can be made available other times of day if needed. I am also happy to water plants and collect mail.
