Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your West Clandon home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like West Clandon.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your West Clandon home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi, I'm Christina, and I'm a huge dog lover!I grew up with a Labrador called Pebbles, who sadly passed away two years ago. She was such a special part of our family, and ever since then I've loved spending time with dogs and caring for them.
Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with friendly company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I tailor my care to each dog's personality, age, and energy level. Walks are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on their needs, and I'll always follow your routine for feeding, exercise, medication, and any special instructions.
Having owned and cared for my own dog for many years, I'm confident with all aspects of day-to-day care, including feeding, walking, sticking to routines, administering simple medication, and recognising when a dog needs exercise, rest, or reassurance. I'm patient with nervous or anxious dogs and understand the importance of letting them settle at their own pace. I'm also happy caring for energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If caring for more than one dog, I'll ensure each receives individual attention while keeping walks and interactions safe and well managed.
During dog sitting, your dog will receive plenty of attention, toilet breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. Their safety is always my priority, and I'll supervise them closely while sending regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll remain calm and act quickly in your dog's best interests. I'll contact you immediately and, if needed, take your dog to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency veterinary practice while following any instructions you've provided.
I always prefer to meet dogs before their first walk or stay so they can get to know me and feel comfortable. For off-lead walks, I ask that dogs have reliable recall, as their safety is my top priority.
I'm currently a student home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule for walks, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. I live in a clean, calm, dog-friendly home close to Ash Ranges, which is perfect for long, enriching walks. Having grown up in the area, I know plenty of great walking routes, and I'll make sure your dog has a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while in my care.
I'm also DBS checked !

-DBS checked.
-Fully insured.
- Trained in pet first aid.
- Experience working in a cattery caring for a variety of cats with lots of different personalities.

I currently have two cats. One is 15 called Ninja and the other is only 9 months old and called Ron.
I have had Ninja most of my life so I have constantly been around cats and they quickly have taken a hold of my heart. I recently rescued Ron and he has turned out to be very crazy! But lovely nonetheless. They are both my babies and I will do anything for them to ensure they have the best care and life, and I will aim and ensure to do the same for the short time I would be with your lovely pets.
I personally love being around all animals any time that I can as I find they have very loving hearts and provide lovely company.

Hi there,
We're Erandhi & Jordan. Two young working professionals and proud paw-rents to our 3 adorable cats, Ofelia, Maya & Hugo (rescued from Crete, Greece).
I (Erandhi) will be the main person taking care of your precious pet/pets. Please note, I'm on maternity leave currently but I'm happy to still pet sit if you don't mind me bringing my baby along. My motivation to pet sit is simple; I love animals and if it were up to me, I'd be working with animals as my full time job. I'm working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Westminster Talking Therapies, so I'm DBS checked. We also both drive.
We both grew up with dogs (I had a Labrador Retriever back home in Austria, and Jordan's dad has a German Shepherd up in Manchester).
We're both avid animal lovers who can't choose between cats or dogs (they're both lovable in their own special ways!). If we we could, we'd have a farm full of every animal species!
In November 2022 I had to say goodbye to my beloved first pet & best friend, my dog Ringo back home in Vienna. I'm still heartbroken and devastated, though he'll live on forever in my heart and through our memories together. Jordan and I experienced pet loss again with our first adopted Greek cat Leon in June 2025. I feel like petsitting is extremely therapeutic in this sense. I miss being around the company of dogs, but unfortunately we're not at a point in our lives where we can fully commit to having a dog just yet.
I've included photos of our furbabies + previous animals I've had the pleasure to look after. I'm not too fussed about what kind of pet you have, as long as it's not aggressive. I prefer medium-big sized dogs & puppies, as well as cats & kittens, but in general, all animals are welcome. I'm available on weekends, holidays and can be flexible with arrangements. Please note - both my partner and I are full time working professionals who work hybrid (some days working from home, other days in the office) and we won't be able to dog board at our place due to our cats.
Please don't hesitate to message me if you're interested or if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you and to meeting your furry four legged friend/s!
Thank you for taking the time to read this & have a lovely day! :)

Hi my name is Susie and I am currently on my gap year rowing for Molesey Boat club, and I am very eager to look after your pets!!
I love animals and grew up with cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I have previously spent school holidays dog and cat sitting. I have experience with daily cats visits, dog walks, and overnight pet sitting. As a pet sitter it is really important for me to spend time with your pet - and of course having lots of cuddles! I'll make sure they feel happy and safe and of course send photo updates!
Having grown up with pets and having a dog and cat at home, I understand the type of care cats and dogs need and am very used to caring for pets! I will make sure your dog has loads of fun on walks and will return with their need to play contented! And trust me no toy will be spared if I visit your cat!
I recently a full scholarship to the US and am so excited to start in September. Please message me if you are interested!

If you’re looking for someone who will care for your cat as if they were their own, you’ve found the right person! I’m a Shepperton-based cat sitter who absolutely adores cats. I'm the girl who will ALWAYS stop to say hello to a cat in the street...or the one searching for the resident cat at a party.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to grow up surrounded by cats. My childhood cats lived to the age of 20 and three of our family cats were rescues who chose to make our home theirs. Two of those rescue cats, Snoopy and Gnocchi, are still with me today and are a huge part of my life. Living with cats for so many years has taught me that every cat has their own unique personality - and I love each and every one of them.
Alongside my personal experience, I’ve also been professionally cat sitting for over a year. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in reliable, caring hands while you’re away. I pride myself on being dependable, patient and attentive and I’ll always follow your cat’s usual routine as closely as possible to minimise any stress.
My visits include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, cuddles (if your cat wants them!) and making sure they’re happy, healthy and comfortable. I can also administer simple medications and send photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they’re doing well <3
I’m based in Shepperton and am available to provide cat sitting and home visits around the surrounding Surrey area. I primarily care for cats and kittens, as this is where my experience and passion lie. Whether your cat is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or a senior who needs extra care, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I’d give my own. My goal is simple: to make sure your cat feels safe, loved and cared for until you’re home again <3

Hello everyone,I am Zsuzsi, 23, I moved to Reigate recently and to fill out my free time wisely I would love to accompany your four legged friends when you can't be there for them.I always dreamt about having a dog as a kid and I can say I was lucky to have one when I was around 14. I still have her, a real love package, unfortunately due to my move she had to stay with my family for now.I had her as a baby and I put a lot of effort in training her so if you'd like to have some help in that field, I also can help with that.I'd love to take your dog for a nice walk, or just play with them, take care of them while you can't.Feel free to reach out to me, and plan a get to know meet up, and discuss how can I help you:)I am mostly available in Reigate or in the area, my availability may vary in accordance with my work schedule. If we find we're suitable for eachother I'm happy to schedule regular walks just as well only occasional ones. I can stay for one (or if is necessary for a few) nights in your home, looking after your pets, or just popping in to feed them/playing with them!

Hello there,
We are a warm friendly couple who love being around animals. We miss animals in our lives and house sitting helps us to reconnect with them and realign with the unconditional love that they give us.
As a couple, we have 2 years of housesitting experience with dogs including disabled dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish.
Our longest stay was a month. (We were registered on another website)
Previously Christian used to have his own dog and also looked after his friend's animals while they were away.
Marta used to have cats and also spent holidays at her grandparents' farm and has been around animals since childhood.
Over the past year we have both become intuitive life coaches but we are still currently working in our previous employment role as we go though a transitional period.
Christian is a musician and electrician.
Marta supports a small property management company with admin work and mostly works from home and her laptop.
Marta is also a healer and that helps animals to feel comfortable around her, she uses Reiki to support animals when necessary.
We treat your animals as if our own.
We spend a lot of time with them being at home and taking them for long walks. We both love nature and long walks.
We can admit medicine to them, and take them to vet visits if required.
We will look after your home, garden and plants and make sure that all is clean and tidy upon your arrival.

Hi! I’m Dan, a 19 year old animal lover based in Surrey with a genuine passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Growing up, animals were always a big part of my life from dogs and cats to tortoises, so looking after them has always felt completely natural to me.
I have hands on experience walking and sitting multiple dogs at once, both big and small breeds, so I’m completely comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve also owned and cared for cats throughout my life, giving me a solid understanding of their needs and how to keep them happy and comfortable, especially when their owners are away.
In terms of services, I offer dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting. Whether you need a reliable daily walker, someone to pop in for a visit, or a sitter to stay with your pet for longer periods, I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs.
Alongside my studies, I work part-time as a lifeguard, so I’m calm under pressure, responsible, and trustworthy qualities I bring to every sit and walk. My flexible schedule means your pet gets real time and attention, not just a quick check-in.
Your pet’s happiness and safety genuinely matter to me. This isn’t just a side job it’s something I really enjoy. I only accept vaccinated pets and will always keep you updated with photos and messages throughout, so you can relax knowing your companion is in great hands.
I’d love to meet your pet, so feel free to get in touch and arrange a free meet and greet!

I have experience in looking after cats, feeding and attending to cat litter trays etc. I love playing and accompanying cats and grooming them to show them off to their full potential!
My motivation is pure love for cats of all varieties I've looked after many cats in friend's homes and in mine too.
I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially cats. Their unique personalities, playful nature, and comforting presence have always brought joy to my life. I understand the importance of providing a safe and loving environment for cats while their owners are away. As a cat sitter, my goal is to ensure that each cat feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I take pride in building a trusting relationship with both the cats and their owners, and I strive to make their time apart as stress-free as possible.
Looking after cats is real pleasure to me.

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve owned cats since I was four years old, and currently share my home (and heart) with my beloved rescue cat, Honey, who I adopted when she was just one. I’m a huge animal lover through and through, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with pets—whether that’s giving them cuddles, chatting to them like they’re listening, or just making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I truly understand how important it is to know your furry family members are in caring hands, and I treat every pet I look after like one of my own. With years of hands-on experience with pets, a gentle approach, and an instinctive love for animals, I’d be honoured to care for your pets and give them all the attention and affection they deserve.
I currently work Monday to Friday office hours. I can do 1 to 2 check ins and feeding / pet cuddles daily, or can house sit if preferred.
