Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Acocks Green home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Acocks Green.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Acocks Green home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi, I’m Steve. I was born in London and my background was IT and business. I am now 57 and have the free time to care for your fur baby. Whilst you enjoy your work day or travel with peace of mind, I can provide your pet/s with loving, individualised care and attention.
I have always loved animals, and have had pets ever since I was a child. I have plenty of experience to give your pets the individual care they need.
I am based in Willenhall next to a huge woodland area and canal side walk.
I have a rescue French bulldog called Bear. I rescued her 5 years ago. She is now 8.5 years old and very sweet with other dogs. My wife, Rebecca is also a big time animal lover!
I am open to any individual requirements you have. My services include dog walking, dog sitting, cat sitting, reptile care, dog hiking (60 / 90mins), bird sitting, rabbit sitting and fish feeding. If you have a pet “farm” animal, I’m open to help too.

Hi, I’m Asam, a calm and reliable pet sitter based in Birmingham.

I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their own home. My approach is patient, attentive, and consistent, which helps both energetic and more anxious pets settle quickly.

I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, including larger breeds, senior pets, and more active dogs. I’m confident handling different temperaments and always adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that’s structured walks, playtime, or simply providing calm companionship.
