A typical day
A typical day with me is centred around keeping your pet active, comfortable, and mentally stimulated. I offer one to two walks per day, tailored to your dog’s needs, whether that’s exploring local woodlands, enjoying the beach, or visiting nearby parks.Alongside exercise, I include plenty of games and enrichment activities to keep pets engaged and prevent boredom. Back at home, I focus on maintaining a calm, safe, and familiar environment, giving your pet plenty of attention, companionship, and routine.During pet sits, I provide a home-from-home experience and am happy to share my space (and even my bed) to ensure your pet feels secure and relaxed. I’m confident working with a wide range of species, with particular experience in caring for reptiles—especially snakes—so every pet is in knowledgeable and capable hands.

Hello! We're Kez and James, a young couple married for just over two years with a shared passion for animals and travel. We love discovering new places while caring for pets as if they were our own. Over the years we've had the joy of looking after many dogs in either the homes of their owners, or in our own home. We often look after our two family Border Terriers - one is rather nervous and dog-shy - and our two lovely family cats. They're a a big part of our lives and have really helped us understand how different each pet's personality can be.
Our experience includes everything from daily walks and playtime to grooming, administering medication, and making sure your home stays clean and cared for whilst you're away. We understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable and safe, and we take pride in creating a calm, loving environment for them.
We're open to looking after most domestic pets, not just dogs and cats, and we're always open to discuss specific needs such as medication administration or specific routines or just to get to know us! If you're looking for trustworthy, experienced and loving sitters we would love to help!

ive always had pets as a child and love animals so much 
I am now in a position to sit with your precious dog ( Harvey will join us as long as you are happy for this of course ) for a day or to enable you to have a holiday .  I would always want you to share everything about your precious baby so that I can ensure I'm giving them the best time with me . 
I always have Harvey vaccinated and he has regular checks with the vet and is really healthy i would need your dog to have been vaccinated wormed etc please&nbsp;

Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and taught me how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for about two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and I'm happy to do overnight stays or visits once/twice a day.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.

Hello! My name is Maiia, and I’m a animal lover with a deep commitment to caring for pets of all kind and size. I am confident caring for aging pets, pets with special need or requiring medical support, have experience in international pet transferring and organising logistics.Most meaningful experiences in my life was in Sweden during the Ukrainian refugee crisis. I supported families in distress arriving with pets who required mandatory medical checkup and often assistance, helping organise and provide it, as well as assisting in housing, legal support and humanitarian necessities. In my life I cared for 80+ pets (dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, snakes, etc.), trained basics for puppies and older dogs, groomed pets, assisted with veterinary appointments, accompanied families before, during and after surgical operations, performed medical support treatments (including injections) and even supported the delivery of six puppies in a dormitory I was managing at that time. Knowing that first of these puppies was named after me still warms my heart today. From a young age, I’ve grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, learning to understand their unique personalities, moods, and needs. Spending time with animals brings me genuine joy, and I love creating a safe, nurturing, and playful environment where they feel loved, comfortable and supported.

I own a sweet 10 year old labradoodle, whom I love to take for walks, and I currently work at an alpaca farm, so I have lots of experience around animals. I have spent time in kennels, catteries, and farms, and am saving up a bit for university.
I can't accommodate any more pets in my own home, but I can look after them in your home and I am very happy to walk them. I have looked after dogs in other people's homes as well as popping in to feed cats!
Dog walks would last approximately 30 minutes to an 1 hour depending on the dog's needs, but I can adjust to them if necessary (for example, if they only do short walks). I recently moved to Southampton to start my Medicine degree, and I am very much missing my dogs (and cats and family) back at home. At home, I have two miniature dachshunds, Otto and Rudi, and three cats, Severin, Bill, and Kiki.
I would like to do more walking to explore Southampton, and I thought that combining it with meeting some new dogs would be perfect! I am experienced with walking my own dogs, who are both miniature dachshunds, as well as a pointer belonging to a family member. I don't have much experience with other dog breeds, but I am excited to gain experience and learn!
I am looking for pet owners just needing a bit of help taking their dog for a walk - I will  take your dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in Southampton. I can't drive, so it would need to be a walk local to you, such as on Southampton common if that is suitable. I prefer dogs that are friendly, but am happy to work with anxious dogs if they will become friendly once they get used to me.&nbsp;
