I've loved animals since I was a little girl and always knew working with them and caring for them is something I wanted to do as I got older. Because of this, I studied animal management at college! I handled all types of animals ranging from rabbits, guinea pigs and snakes to meerkats and raccoon dogs! I've even done work experience in vets and multiple doggy daycares! Hi, I'm Lizzy! I've been housesitting since 2020 - I housesat for a friend's gentle and playful cat for 2 weeks, and I've been hooked ever since! Looking after cats, dogs and chickens in multiple countries as well as around the UK has been an absolutely wonderful experience - reviews from external sites available on request. I'm absolutely a cat lady at heart but have a real soft spot for rabbits and guinea pigs.I grew up with guinea pigs and walking friends' dogs, and owned house rabbits in the past - very fun and rewarding pets! As well as the last few years of housesitting my experience includes volunteering at a small wildlife rescue and on small farms in Norway &amp; Finland.&nbsp;
My priority is always the pets and home in my care, and I'll do everything I can to keep your pets happy and house safe. I provide house sitting and visits at your home with your pet in their own happy safe environment, and dog walking which is also included with sitting. I work as a nurse (DBS checked) but have recently relocated to Manchester so having a bit of a break before I start work again.I have a beautiful toy poodle called Gojira (aged 1). She is my pride and joy :). I love teaching her new tricks and spending time with her. She is confident and enjoys being around other furry companions. I prefer to walk small dogs as I have always been around small dogs. I will never walk any dogs off lead for safety reasons and I will only walk one dog at a time - your fur baby will have my undivided attention!I currently offer dog walking, house sitting and drop in visits (feeding, playing, letting them out for wees/poos etc.).
