Top cities for house sitting in United Kingdom

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Wixams home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Wixams.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Wixams home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi! My name is Jessie and I am passionate about pets so much so that I work with them everyday!! I work at a luxury cat hotel caring for the needs of various breeds of cats while their owners are away. I have gained experience with all kinds of breeds and tempremant of cat including maine coons, cornish rexes, sphynx , moggies and many more!! But also dogs as well, as I have done dog walking and sitting for over 6 years now. I love cats and dogs alike! I own my own cat Nero who is a 14 year old tabby with a big personality and a spunky russian blue cross called Gretel along with my kitten Robyn!!I also have a level 2 diploma in feline care and behaviour which along with fundamental knowledge in caring for cats has taught me basic first aid skills which can also be applied to our doggy friends.

I’ve been a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady" for as long as I can remember, and my passion for cats has only grown over the past six years. From playful kittens to sleepy seniors, my heart flutters whenever I see them. My experience includes caring for a cat with bronchitis for four years, which involved giving medication, nightly nebulizing treatments, and ensuring comfort. Grooming, such as brushing fur and cleaning ears, is part of our daily routine as i pwned a Persian cat with long coat. I take pride in maintaining a tidy and calm environment for them. Beyond tasks, I’ve developed a deep understanding of cats’ moods and needs, whether they’re in the mood for play, food, or a cozy nap. Each cat’s unique personality fascinates me, and I love getting to know them. I’d be delighted to be your go-to cat-sitter, offering love, care, and plenty of snuggles to your feline friend(s) while you’re away!
