Caring for animals has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. For 17 years, I had a lovely and special dog, dedicating my time, energy, and heart to giving her love and care.
I currently share my life with my cat Ludovico, who reminds me every day how special the bond between humans and animals can be. In Italy, I also volunteer at a rescue centre, continuing to support animals in need and staying actively involved in animal welfare. I’ve also had a rabbit, so I’m comfortable looking after small pets as well.
Becoming a pet sitter is a natural extension of who I am. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. At just 13 years old, I began working at a local dog groomers, and I still work there when I can. During my time there, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience managing reception, grooming dogs, handling retail, and completing a canine first aid training course. I’m committed to improving animals’ well-being and ensuring they feel as calm and comfortable as possible, even during unfamiliar or daunting experiences.
I have a nurturing personality and remain patient and composed in distressing situations. My role involved reassuring dogs through gentle affection, playful interaction, and a calm tone. I learned to read their body language, set appropriate boundaries for safety, and provide thorough aftercare. My grooming skills include bathing, drying, brushing, trimming pads, cutting nails, and clipping. When things were quiet, I stayed busy by cleaning, organizing, and learning from the more experienced groomers.
In addition to my grooming experience, I’ve also provided pet-sitting services for friends and family. Dogs would stay at my home for anything from a day to two weeks. However, since my mum has started a childminding business, I’m no longer able to care for dogs at home. That’s why I’m now offering pet-sitting services in your home—allowing me to continue doing what I love.

My experience with dogs has been vast since childhood within my family I have grown up with a Labrador/Collie cross, 3 Irish wolfhounds and a Welsh Springer Spaniel all of which I have looked after when needed, even helping out with training too.

Recently boarded a 9 year old Jack Russell too who had two walks a day and was well looked after. 

We have a fenced garden and two or three parks nearby for on-lead walks so plenty of options for exercise, even for elderly dogs who may not be as spritely as they once were. 

I am aware that some dogs may have separation anxiety and when I am at work during the day (Monday to Friday) my wife and/or parents in law are home for company and letting out for toilet breaks etc… and I can provide walks in the morning before work and then after work to ensure exercise requirements are well met (a tired dog is a happy dog).

We have two children who are 6 &amp; 9 and they are fully aware of how they should behave around dogs.

Growing up with dogs in the house, it's always made a home feel so much more homely and now being away at University, I'm missing my fluffy besties. Hi, in this world I don't think you could find someone who loves dogs and looking after them as much as I do. I have had 15 years of experience in looking after my own and other people's dogs (and homes).One of my favourite pet-sit, house-sit experiences was looking after Chewy, who you can see pictured, for several weeks over Christmas. It was really special to make sure Chewy was happy and looked after while her human family was away.Right now I have little Max, who is a cross Cavalier Toy Poodle who is about to turn six, and I loved looking after Charlie, and also Poppy, a Cockapoo, when I lived in the UK in Hampshire for five years.I love walking dogs, and received a certification in dog training in Fleet, UK, with Poppy (who passed with flying colours!) I have housetrained three dogs, and am happy to look after, pick up after, feed of course, provide medicine, keep water topped up and clean, wash when needed, and just generally make sure your little chap (or chapette) is looked after, happy and beautifully cared for. I even manage to groom Max myself, despite his puppy-like exuberance!

We're Erandhi &amp; Jordan. Two young working professionals and proud paw-rents to our 2 adorable cats, Ofelia &amp; Maya. We had a 3rd beautiful boy, Leon (who we rescued from Crete, Greece) but unfortunately we recently had to put him down on the 12th June 2025 as he was very sick &amp; suffering with cancer. It's a tragedy as he was so young, but we try &amp; remember him by how much love &amp; laughter we shared in the 1.5 years we had him 
We both grew up with dogs (I had a Labrador Retriever back home in Austria, and Jordan's dad has a Border Collie up in Manchester). 
We're both avid animal lovers who can't choose between cats or dogs (they're both lovable in their own special ways!). If we we could, we'd have a farm full of every animal species! 
I (Erandhi) will be the main person taking care of your precious pet/pets, my partner (Jordan) will be supporting me at times. My motivation to pet sit is simple; I love animals and if it were up to me, I'd be working with animals as my full time job. I'm working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Westminster Talking Therapies, so I'm DBS checked. We also both drive.
In November 2022 I had to say goodbye to my beloved first pet &amp; best friend, my dog Ringo back home in Vienna. I'm still heartbroken and devastated, though he'll live on forever in my heart and through our memories together. I feel like petsitting is extremely therapeutic in this sense. I miss being around the company of dogs, but unfortunately we're not at a point in our lives where we can fully commit to having a dog just yet.
I've included photos of our furbabies + previous animals I've had the pleasure to look after. I'm not too fussed about what kind of pet you have, as long as it's not aggressive. I prefer medium-big sized dogs &amp; puppies, as well as cats &amp; kittens, but in general, all animals are welcome. I'm available on weekends, holidays and can be flexible with arrangements. Please note - both my partner and I are full time working professionals who work hybrid (some days working from home, other days in the office) and we won't be able to dog board at our place due to our cats.
