Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Animal welfare and safety are core values for me, supported by my BSc in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science. I’ve shared my life with dogs, cats, and a variety of small pets, and I’m also an experienced equestrian.

Professionally, I have experience running my own pet care business, completing a year of veterinary nurse training, and I’m certified in canine and feline first aid. I also have hands-on experience caring for rescue animals and nervous dogs, ensuring they feel safe, calm, and loved. I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy, and reliable, always following care instructions to the letter.

I have worked with animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to elderly pets with complex needs. My late cat, Tigger, was diabetic and high-maintenance, and caring for him taught me that nothing is too much when it comes to their wellbeing.

I genuinely love every animal as if they were my own and will provide the same level of care, attention, and affection to your furry family member. I can’t wait to meet them!

I'm currently setting up my own business called On a Wim providing services in pet sitting of a variety of animals, Professional Organising, Computer Aided Design and bringing a product i have designed to market. On a Wim is a play on my last name Wimshurst and the fact this is a lot of very different skills but they are all things I enjoy and I am passionate about.
I care for your pets in your home. Whilst you are away your pet(s) are in their familiar environment, with as close to their normal routine. I will reassure and care for your pets let me be the safe and loving pair of hands to look after your pet and home while your away. Perks of me as a pet sitter will also include coming home to a clean house, send me a list and i can pick up the groceries before your return. I have 4 years house and petsitting experience with young and older dogs. I have an up to date DBS as I currently work a part time careworker. I have more than 40 years as a pet owner including caring for senior dogs.&nbsp; I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. One regular client had 4 rescued Daschunds.&nbsp;When I do a housesit, I care for your home, garden and pets, 24/7, go on walks, play tug of war games, throw tennis ball and I have loads of love to give. With 22 years of experience growing up around a range of house pets (Dogs, Cats, Hamsters) and a small stint at BCA college doing an animal management course, has made me find a passion for caring for animals and I find myself wanting to make a switch into the animal care industry.

I currently only offer dog walking to help me build some experience. (My planned routes currently are - Burnham Beeches, Kennedy Park Fields, Burnham Village Fields, Baylis Court Fields. Other routes can be worked out if the distance is too far between)
 I do later plan to do home stays and possibly some training sessions once I get my footing.

In Emergencies!
I currently cannot drive and am working on getting my license. If your dog suffers from any diseases that need treatment please notify me in the booking, i will try to accommodate to their needs. In the event I cannot meet their needs a cancellation of your booking may take effect. 
In the event your dog suffers any injuries or suddenly requires veterinary treatment, you will be contacted as well as your registered vet. I will do everything in my power to get attention to your animal to prevent any unwanted mishaps. 

Growing up with dogs in the house, it's always made a home feel so much more homely and now being away at University, I'm missing my fluffy besties. I'm flexible, patient, happy to take the time to get to know the animal I'll be taking care of or taking on a walk and someone who can give your dogs some love and care when you can't be there!
I'm a 19-year old full time student at University, studying English and History, and you can normally find me with a book in my hand! 
I've always been around dogs, with experience of small dogs, medium dogs, dogs that are a little more anxious and also those who just need a bit of company. I am used to being cautious around anxious dogs and waiting for them to trust me. I'm happy to also walk dogs separately if they're a little anxious around other dogs.

Hi, in this world I don't think you could find someone who loves dogs and looking after them as much as I do. I have had 15 years of experience in looking after my own and other people's dogs (and homes).One of my favourite pet-sit, house-sit experiences was looking after Chewy, who you can see pictured, for several weeks over Christmas. It was really special to make sure Chewy was happy and looked after while her human family was away.Right now I have little Max, who is a cross Cavalier Toy Poodle who is about to turn six, and I loved looking after Charlie, and also Poppy, a Cockapoo, when I lived in the UK in Hampshire for five years.I love walking dogs, and received a certification in dog training in Fleet, UK, with Poppy (who passed with flying colours!) I have housetrained three dogs, and am happy to look after, pick up after, feed of course, provide medicine, keep water topped up and clean, wash when needed, and just generally make sure your little chap (or chapette) is looked after, happy and beautifully cared for. I even manage to groom Max myself, despite his puppy-like exuberance!

I am a full time, hard working person willing to help care for any animal in need. 
I’m a veterinary assistant, before that I was at a dog kennels; providing the care for dogs and cats. I’ve got a certificate in animal management care level 2 diploma. Always loved things big and small. Tend to spend majority of my time at home with my animals making sure their needs are kept up with. I go out on daily walks with my dog three or four times a day. Very active. If not I'm at home with both dog and cat playing with them and implementing training needed. ￼
Check food and medications required with the owner ahead of time. Before taking on a dog, make sure the owner supplies you with enough food, and if they're on a special diet, get the details from the owner ahead of time or at drop-off. If the dog requires specific medication, you need to be comfortable giving this.
The daily animal caretaking routine usually involves feeding and providing drinking water for each animal, making sure that their enclosure is clean, safe, appropriately warm, and, if needed, stocked with materials to keep the animal active and engaged.
