Hi! I'm Heidi, a friendly, reliable and passionate pet sitter based in Watford (WD25), offering home dog boarding, doggy day care and cat sitting. As both a dog and cat owner myself, I understand how different every pet is and how important it is to find someone you can truly trust while you're away. I share my home with one friendly young dog and two cats, and over the past few years I've cared for both dogs and cats for friends, neighbours and Pawshake clients. Living with both dogs and cats has helped me understand different personalities and body language, allowing me to provide calm, patient and personalised care.

🐾 Dog Boarding & Doggy Day Care

I offer Dog Boarding and Doggy Day Care in my home.

To ensure every dog receives plenty of love, attention and a calm environment, I only accept one booking at a time (unless the dogs are from the same household). This allows me to tailor my care to your dog's individual routine and personality.

Your dog's stay includes:

• Feeding according to their usual routine
• Fresh water available at all times
• Plenty of playtime, cuddles and enrichment
• Regular toilet breaks throughout the day
• One daily walk (30–60 minutes depending on your dog's age, energy level and routine)
• Supervised playtime in our fully fenced and secure garden
• Daily photo and video updates

Supervision & Daily Routine

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. My husband and I arrange our schedules to ensure guest dogs receive plenty of attention and are never left alone for longer than 3 hours, in line with Pawshake's policy.

I always try to keep your dog's routine as close to home as possible, including feeding times, exercise and sleeping arrangements, so they can settle in comfortably during their stay.

❤️ Our Home

We live in a spacious house with a fully fenced and secure private garden, giving dogs plenty of space to explore, play and relax safely.

Our home is also shared with one friendly young dog and two cats. To ensure everyone is comfortable, our guest dogs stay on the ground floor together with our dog, while our cats have their own dedicated room and remain upstairs. This setup allows both our canine and feline family members to enjoy their own space while keeping everyone safe and relaxed.

Guest dogs sleep downstairs in their own crate overnight. To help maintain a familiar routine and ensure every dog's safety and comfort, I currently only accept dogs that are crate trained and comfortable sleeping independently. If your dog has their own crate, you're welcome to bring it along, or I can provide one if needed.

To make sure every stay is enjoyable for everyone, I always arrange a meet-and-greet before confirming a boarding booking. This gives us the opportunity to ensure your dog is comfortable with our home and with my own dog.

For everyone's safety, I only accept fully vaccinated dogs.

🐱 Cat Sitting

As a cat owner myself, I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. Some love attention, while others simply appreciate a calm, familiar presence—and I'm happy to care for them in whichever way makes them feel most comfortable.

During each visit, I can provide:

• Feeding and fresh water
• Litter tray cleaning
• Playtime and enrichment
• Plenty of fuss and cuddles (if they enjoy them!)
• Daily photo and video updates for your peace of mind
  

I always take the time to get to know each cat and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I'm also experienced in caring for indoor cats and multi-cat households.
