My proudest moment as a pet lover is this story. I stayed with a family who had two hyperactive small dogs and one very aloof cat. One night, the owner found all four of us snuggled up together while we watched the Traitors finale. She was shocked, especially with the cat who usually kept to himself!

I grew up with two rescue dogs, one hamster, and several fish. I also spent a lot of time with my grandmother's cats. Our family also boarded friend's dogs. My mother and I would walk our dog for hours in the morning near our local river and forest. I also spent a summer volunteering at a bird rescue and rehabilitation center. These were great memories for me! I am an animal lover with a soft spot for rescue pets. I especially adore sighthounds - the last dog I had was a greyhound/lab mix and I just adored her strange greyhound behaviors, like leaning against you!

I do not have professional pet care experience yet, and I am excited to start my journey here. 

I offer dog walking services from 30 minutes - 2h. I also offer home visits and pet sitting. I would prefer to stay locally to Watford, although I have a car and am happy to travel further out.

I have good availability until January, except for the end of September/start of October. I am very flexible and can adapt to your needs. 

I am not comfortable working with pets with extensive health problems/conditions considering that I do not have much professional experience. If your pets require taking pills and if you show me how it works for them, I am comfortable doing this, but anything more would be outside my abilities.

I am also not currently comfortable working with highly reactive dogs especially for dog walking services, someone who has more professional dog handling qualifications would be more suitable for you. 

Other than those two restrictions I am very open! I am calm, patient, attentive without being overbearing. I am also very observant - I was usually the first person to notice is something was wrong with our pets when I was growing up.
