Hi! I’m Zia 🐾

I’m a friendly, reliable and caring college student with a huge love for animals. I’m looking to offer dog walking and pet drop-in visits alongside my studies, and I’d genuinely love the opportunity to spend my spare time working with and caring for animals.

A little about me & my experience 🐶

I grew up having my own dog, a Hungarian Puli, who I absolutely adored. Sadly, she passed away, but having her was a huge part of why I love animals so much. I know how much a pet means to their family, and I would always treat someone else’s pet with the same love, patience and care that I gave my own.

I also have experience looking after my uncle’s Pocket Bully, Pedro. This has made me comfortable around different breeds and personalities, including stronger dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs, playing with them, giving them attention and making sure they’re happy and comfortable.

Being around animals is something I genuinely love, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I’d really enjoy doing rather than seeing it as simply a job.

My usual walks would be around 30–60 minutes depending on the dog’s needs, age and what their owner prefers. I would use local parks, green spaces and safe walking routes in the area. Safety would always be really important to me, so I would follow all instructions given by the owner, keep dogs securely on their lead unless agreed otherwise, avoid unsafe or overly busy areas and make sure they are comfortable throughout the walk. During visits I would also make sure they have fresh water, are fed if required, get plenty of attention and are left safe and settled before I leave.

I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and make sure your pet is safe, comfortable and well cared for.

As I’m currently at college, I have availability around my timetable, including some evenings and weekends.

I’m also happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before looking after a new pet. This gives me the chance to meet them, learn about their personality and routine, and gives you the chance to make sure you’re comfortable with me too.

I’m currently building up my pet-sitting experience, so I’m offering affordable introductory prices while I hopefully build relationships with local pet owners and some regular furry clients! 🐶💕
